My sister's husband used to be that way until mom said something to him one time and he hasn't done it since.

Okay so I had a very non-christian like moment at the table.  One of the husbands dug into the pumpkin pie and had 4 pieces before anyone else had a chance.  Really asshole?  One and you are done!!!

Up until Wednesday he and his wife and daughter were not even coming to my dinner.  They came last minute.  If I had known, I would have had a third pie!!

i have now made over 50 possible books covers.  time to start deleting.  i think i need to start over.   

i could publish the book tonight if i could get the covers right.

Well, I've got 3 crock pots full of pork roast, green beans, onions, and 'taters goin' and the other side dishes ready to go when it's time.  It's gonna be an interesting day and I'm probably gonna sleep all day tomorrow.  Guess I'd better get my shower and get the little last minute stuff taken care of before everyone starts arriving.

Well, today we shopped till we dropped. Hubby and I and our friends Mike and Becky, went to the Quad Cities to do some Christmas shopping. We went everywhere!!! The traffic was crazy, and the stores were crowded. Here's a run down of the stores we went to....

The day started out on a sad note though.... we headed up the road to meet our friends in town, and found my cat Sylvester dead on the road. He had been hit by a car. He got outta the house 4 days ago, and I figured something had happened to him. It had to have happened sometime last night. At least, I know what happened to him so, it's better that way. I've had a lot of them dissappear without a trace, and it haunts me awful bad, wondering what became of them.

Well, Hubby and I went to the tree farm to get our Christmas tree. It was like something out of a Thomas Kincaid work of art. We drove out into the country, while giant snowflakes fell gently to the ground. We picked out the best looking tree we've ever had,and Hubby cut it down. It's an 8 foot Douglas Fir, and it cost $40. I guess that's the goin' rate for Christmas trees. We haven't had a real tree in probably 10 years. We wanted to make this year really special in case, we're not around next year. We find out tomorrow if Hubby has Cancer. So, we're keeping ourselves busy today so, the time doesn't drag by.
