Stuck overnight. The roads in Madison county were terrible this morning; even with this light dusting we had overnight. Solid ice on the roads everywhere. BE CAREFUL!  :spooked:

Delaware county is clear. . .

The only problem I had this morning was a sluggish start.  It was COLD.  The snow really was dustlike, it blew off the front of my van as soon as I started driving.
Looks like I've come full circle.

Once I hit Delaware county the roads were great. (They put salt down, or beet juice, or whatever concoction they are using these days). In any case, Madison county roads were terrible in comparison. . .

Gas is only $1.85 a gallon here. I had a little under a quarter of a tank when I started ,and could only fit $15.50 in it. Woooohooooo!!! I like that price LMAO!!!  :sofa: :sofa: :sofa:

I finally saw $1.92.  I'll have to go today.  Isn't Wednesday night a big price change day?  Or maybe I should wait until tomorrow hoping the change is lower.
Take time to smell the roses.

It may well get better. Anderson is notorious for having higher gas prices than surrounding areas, and I just saw it at Rickers for 1.78.  This is good.

Today, it was $1.82. If it drops below a buck fifty, I'll probably have a stroke LMAO!!!!

I'm hoping it does.  And I hope it's by next Wednesday.  I am trying to go to Tennessee for Thanksgiving. The less money I have to come up with for gas, the better.

I paid $1.68 in Greenfield at the Gas America on st rd 9 and I70.....$20.00 filled up my tank...that was so awsome.

I had a good laugh tonight.  I went out to my cat barn to check, and make sure the space heater was working, and got quite a surprise. I was standing there looking around at the cats, when suddenly two pink noses popped up from under the feed bunk. It was two Opossums!!! Apparently they are going to be lodging at Che' Dexter's this evening LMAO!!! They are sooooo cute. I've caught them in there before. I'm not quite sure how they got in tonight though. The door wasn't completely closed  but, I had a big block in front of it. They may have been there the initial time I went in to feed the cats. They may have been hiding in one of the bedding boxes out there. I should take a picture but, I'm afraid it may freak them out. Maybe tomorrow?

I'm surprised the cats will let them stay.
