Interesting.  I'll need to go check that out.  I haven't read Poe in years.

Poe died in a  ditch, homeless, and alone. Do you think he could even dream of what we think of him today?
It seems to me that a lot of pepole didn't become famous till they had been dead for a while. well from way back when.

Man, what a night!!!!  :spooked: I had to rush Hubby to the emergency room tonight. We had just finished supper, and he stood up all of a sudden, and said "I don't feel right" somethings wrong I need to go to the hospital. I asked him "Do you want me to call an ambulance what's wrong?" He said "No lets go to the emergency room." Luckily, we only live about 10 minutes from the hospital. So, I got us dressed, and I drove 70 mph to the ER. Man, was I scared!!!! So, I kind of half carried him in the door and yelled, "My husband is having some kind of a spell!!!" They hurried out, and got him to a room. I had to go park the car because, I pulled right up to the doors. So, I parked the car, whipped out my cell phone and called my Mom. I just busted out bawling. I was almost hysterical, but I pulled myself back together, and gave the receptionist the pertinent information. I don't do well in situations that involve my Husband being sick or hurt. Anybody else, I'm fine but I'm quite different when it's Hubby. Anywho.... they did chest X-rays, bloodwork, and other tests, and after about 3 hours of waiting, the doctor decided Hubby has walking pneumonia. His oxygen level was low to the point that he was almost passing out. So, they gave him antibiotics, and sent us on our way. Hubby doesn't think that's what's wrong with him. He does have symptoms that really aren't related to walking pneumonia. I really hope it is, but I don't know. God, I hate it when stuff like this happens, I feel so helpless, because I can't help him.

No, it just came on him in a flash!!! We were just sitting there watching TV, and he just jumped up out of his chair, and said "Somethings wrong, I need to go to the hospital." It scared me sooooo bad!!! Crazy thoughts started going through my head ... heart attack, aneurysm, stroke, diabetes... I mean crazy thoughts all at once. It was horrible... I didn't know if he was going to make it to the hospital or not. I held his hand when I drove us there, and his hand was ice cold. It scared the hell out of me.  :spooked: I can't take much of that that's for sure. I haven't been that scared in a very long time. When we were in the emergency room by ourselves, I held his hand and said to him, "Don't you leave me, don't you do it."  :'( That's how scared I was.  :spooked:
