We never ever use any kind of poisons in our yard, because of my cats. We have the house sprayed every year, because the house had some termite activity before we bought it. It was treated,and we have it inspected,and treated once a year. The stuff they spray it with is safe for human consumption. We would never use something, we thought would endanger animals ,or the environment. That's just not cool IMO.

My cat is FINALLY having her kittens!!! For about 2 weeks, I've thought she was going to deliver ,and she hadn't. She just kept getting BIGGER and BIGGER. She started having them at 4:30 this aftrenoon, and right now the count is 2. She is still HUGE though. I hope she's just a water retaining sea cow, but I fear something more sinister is in the works.  Like maybe she's gonna have a dozen.  YIKES!!!    HELP ME RHONDA!!!!

It's 7:49 and the kitten count is at 5. I hope she's done, but it doesn't look like it.

It's 10:20pm and the count is 5. I think she's done, but I'm not positive. Her belly still feels hard,so there may be more in there. I'll know more in the morning. Her and all 5 kittens are doing great.She is taking very good care of them. I'm relieved, because most of the first time Mama kitties, don't have much maternal instinct, so that is a real big plus. Maybe, I'll luck out ,and not have to bottle feed any of them this time. *fingers crossed*

God I hope not either LOL!!!! They really are cute. They're mostly white with black markings. Hubby calls them spotted cows.  He's not real happy that we have more kittens.  We already have them coming out of our ears LOL!!! He almost shat himself, when we found out she was preggers.

We never even find a mouse turd anywhere. In the country mice, and rodents can be a real problem, but not here,thanks to the cats. I see them with mice,mostly torturing the live ones,and playing with the dead ones.  If I look out the window ,and see a bunch of them in a circle staring at something, it's usually some helpless victim of some sort. It could be a mouse,a bird,a snake,or insect of some kind. Anything that moves is fair game to a cat.  They are good for keeping the rodent population down. I hate it when they kill birds, baby ground squirrels,and baby rabbits though.

Here's an idea.  Some evening when you and hubby are both scheduled to be home for the night, and don't have to go to work first thing in the morning, get all your animals fed and cared for.  Then run off to a motel.  One good nights sleep could do you both a world of good.
