It's so cute to see their eyes...wide open as we grab a big handful of candy and stuff it in their bags..even mom and dad smile...it's the first of the holidays...the giving of candy to children holidays...the smiles and laughter...and Charlie frightened some hispanic children from the porch and I called them and their parents with a box of candy...and the youngest, they were all in costumes looked at Charlie looking at him through the glass door and said "Grrr".  And the mother and I laughed so hard...it was funny...and a moment...and we connected...and the children was precious...and it was joy and fun and laughter and candy and celebrations......

The beginning of the holidays...the joys...hope I can keep it in my heart....another one spent without my son....

More holidays coming up. It will be harder this year with no family close. I wish I could sleep for 2 months.

There are more churches in Las Vegas than casinos. During Sunday services at
the offertory, some worshippers contribute casino chips as opposed to cash.
Some are sharing their winnings - some are hoping to win. Since they get
chips from so many different casinos, and they are worth money, the Catholic
churches are required to send all the chips into the diocese for sorting.
Once sorted into the respective casino chips, one junior priest takes the
chips and makes the rounds to the casinos turning chips into cash. And he is
known as .......

Hubby's business partner called and said he'd found a flaw in the system that had forced them to split ways and he'd exploited the flaw, gaining the ability to bring Hubby back into their contract....

He's on his way home from Milwaukee right now!!!  :smitten:
