I have the best husband ever!!!  One of my things I wanted to do before I die, was to see Rod Stewart in concert.  I woke this morning...got my coffee and settled down in front of the computer to read my emails and read the boards that I belong to.  My second email...I thought someone had hacked my credit card.  There was a charge on there for 2 Rod Stewart concert tickets for February 1 in Hollywood Florida.  I freaked....thought my card had been hacked.  Then hubby says...Happy Valentine's Day early!!  I cried and jumped up and hugged him......then wondered how I was gonna get there.  I have never flown and have no inkling to do so.  So we talked my son and his wife into going with us...they said they needed time away from the cold :biggrin:...and we are gonna drive down there.  Oh my GOD!!!  I am gonna go see the one person I have always wated to see in concert thanks to my very loving husband....who said he would do anything for me.  This proves it!!!  What a hubby I have!!!

Right now, we have all of the Virginia Tech fans in town for the Orange Bowl.  I guess in February, we'll have the Rod Stewart fans.  ;D

Even though it's going to be cold around here for the next couple of days, the 70s should be back by Friday, and there's no snow in the forecast at all.

You can't imagine.  :no: I live in the boonies,and in the Winter it can be a real nightmare. Don't get me wrong, I was born and raised in the country. I've lived in a couple of very small towns, and have vowed  never to do that again. One of the biggest problems, when you're out in the middle of nowhere, is there is nothing around to break the wind. There are more power outages, and blowing, and drifting snow causes real problems. Luckily, we put in a full house generator last Summer, so power outages aren't a real problem for us now. The drifting snow however is a major problem this year. Right now, we have drifts around the house 4-5 feet tall. The Corolla doesn't like drifts at all LOL!!! It's crazy, but we have a Toyota Tundra Off Road, it's a 4 wheel drive, and it's no match, for the weather conditions we've had this year. This is the worst Winter we've had for a very long time. So, I'm ready for the warm weather.  :sun: I would imagine that February and March, will be a real treat for us.  :rolleyes:

So does my wife, but I cannot stand the moron! I saw a Southpark episode the other night with him on it. It was hilarious. He was singing for some sort of public effort, and was in a wheelchair and toothless. I laughed until I cried!  :biggrin:
