Me too. I'm not looking forward to winter this year. My arthritis acts up worse with every Winter. Fall is my season of choice.  Winter can wait.  :cold:

Another mining accident?  Why does this seem like it is happening way too much?  Or are we just hearing about them more?  Isn't there a safer way?
Take time to smell the roses.

Sounds like a treat for the garbage man.
Something witty and relevant.

I hear ya, Kimmi.........and yes there are safer ways.  It's a shame that it is going to take the deaths of these people to bring more attention to the issue

I can barely stand to see my self naked. If somebody saw me naked they'd probably either...(1) go blind, (2) go off screaming into the night, or (3) drop dead on the spot.  :spooked: Now that's pretty damn scary.  :spooked: :spooked:  My husband hasn't gone blind yet, but I look for it in the near future LOL!!!!

Is there truth to that...or is that just a cliché?

pariann

Well, I think it's true to a certain extent.  We overlook a lot of things when we are in love (or believe we are) that would repel us when applied to someone who we are not in love with.

One of the hazards of divorce and then meeting new people, I've found, is that you tend to compare everyone to what you know.  The more I find myself comparing, the more I notice about my ex's physique, that I didn't notice while we were together.  I believe that I was blind to a lot of things, physically, emotionally and intellectually.  Things that turn me off in most people now, are things I lived with for 20 years and didn't even notice.
Looks like I've come full circle.

Sometimes just for the hell of it, when we're getting ready for bed, we both pull our underpants up to our armpits, and jump around.  :spooked: You have to have humor in every aspect of your life.  It has gotten us through a lot of rough spots over the years.
