It was 115 degrees in Baghdad yesterday. Imagine wearing full fatigues, combat boots and body armor in that heat while people are trying to kill you.

absolutely.  my brother was in afghanistan for a while, now at ft. hood, and then off to iraq in november.  those kids (all of the troops) are really sacrificing.  takes a special kind of person to do that.

friday the 13th.  hmm.  the only creepy thing i did so far was take pix of a carcass on the trail.  on the way back there was a dead rodent... so i took his picture, too.

well, the carcass was a rabbit... dead long enough to be past the maggot chow stage... the rodent was fresh.  very fresh... not yet to the maggot stage.  visual aids of the carcass in my member play area... (couldn't post the rodent--there was a crotchel region visible... didn't want to get nailed for rodent porn.)
