Because, the people at the bun factory can't count LOL!!! Maybe, the people at the Weiner factory can't count. It's one of life's mysteries and we may never know. I'm stopping while I'm ahead,   my brain's starting to hurt LOL!!! Anybody got a Tylenol.   :bliss:

To really complicate matters...Hebrew National packages their hot dogs by 7! What's that all about?

Is it better to have too many buns & not enough hot dogs...or too many hot dogs & not enough buns?

kimmi

Too many dogs and not enough buns!  Like mom used to say - put on a slice of bread.  It's the same thing!

Yep, the only time we get buns is when we have company.  I'm getting to where I'd just as soon have my hot dogs on bread.

I prefer hamburgers on bread, myself...

me - we NEVER had hotdog buns unless we had company!  I refuse to eat them in bread now.  I'd rather eat them plain! haha

Especially with a slice of Velveeta!

My dad would sometimes wrap bacon around it and secure it with toothpicks.  That was yummy!  Great for the heart too! haha

Oh yes......slit them, put a piece of cheese in the middle, wrap them with bacon, and roast them over a fire... :smitten:

Had to quit doing that though because I would eat too many and be miserable.

I'm starting to think it's a conspiracy.  :spooked: I don't know for sure which way is better.

Dex: Numbers were very important in the Bible. If I'm not mistaken the number 7 is for perfection and completeness. I, of course, stand to be corrected. If you do any research , let me know what you find.
