i finally got to 100 pages!!!  yipee!  (now i just have to come up with a few titles i haven't already used... that's hard when you've written over 2000 poems...)

i can't wait to publish this beast so i can order a copy.... (i'm my own biggest fan.)

yup.  5 kid books, 4 poetry collections (5 once i'm done editing)... another kid book in the works, a short horror collection in the works, and a how to write poetry book... busy, busy vxn.

my local library has a copy of the first book.  (i should donate copies of the rest...)

the first book was at amazon and other places...  now i have them all on my author page.

Well, the flood is really taking it's toll. In the town where I work there is a boil order in effect. Work was quite interesting, what with having to boil water all day. We couldn't even sell fountain drinks. Our district manager had to drive to a distributor to get bottled water, and pop to sell. Today, the city announced it may have to completely cut the water supply off. If they do it could be off for 3 days.  It was total kaos at the stores, people are freaking out trying to buy water, and other supplies. Walmart was nuts!!! If the city cuts the water supply, all of the restaurants will be closed. That may mean a mini vacation for Dex!!! Woooooohoooo!!!  I'm soooooo glad I live in the country ,and have well water.
