It's always darkest before the dawn.  So if you're going to steal your neighbor's newspaper, that's the time to do it.

Just signed the first round of papers for the new house. The truth in lending and all that.

I know we added about $20k in upgrades, but my payment appears to have gone up quite a bit...yippee! Lefty's gonna love that one. :D

nahh...we'll start small. My parents had an 18' inboard/outboard that I used to drive on Wawassee several years ago. I'll start in that same ballpark and get used...gotta work my way up.

I had suggested some his/hers jet skis, but he's not wanting the boys to get left out. When does mama get some fun???

18' inboard/outboard is going to run you (depending uon manufacturer etc) somewhere around 20k and up. . . new. Now used, you might just be alright in the initial outlay of cash, but upkeep and repairs will eat you alive if you make a bad purchase. . .

I wish my parents hadn't sold their boat. It was a 1976 but it was in immaculate condition, had very low hours on the odometer or whatever, and was quite fast. My grandparents babied it. The only thing I didn't like was that it was a tri-hull, and would bang you to death if you were riding up front in the bow when the water was choppy.
