So what do you all think about the coach from the Patriots coming to Indy?

They can bring in the son of Jeebus himself and still lose. . .

I want to see them put an offensive line around their QB that will prevent the oppositions defense from imposing neck, spleen, shoulder, injuries and give that QB the opportunity to complete some passes.

In my view until that is done, losing is in Indy's future moving forward. A coach can only work with what he or she is given. . .

I feel seriously that the Eagles proved that by losing their starting quarterback in December and then finishing up with the backup; who was just as good as their starter because he had protection and the time it provides.

The only song I care about is:

"Brady lost!
Brady lost!
Praise God in Heaven!
Brady lost!"

Looks like he changed his mind and is staying with the Patriots.

That'll sour even more people against the Patriots.  I absolutely hate that organization.

He's been a dumbass before, because he squandered his opportunity at a head coaching job in Denver, but he'll be lucky if any franchise will offer him a position after this debacle.   He even hired assistant coaches there in Indy if I'm recalling correctly (I've been a bit busy the last few days). ;D

The only other thing that may be in play here is that he's privy to some sort of inside information as to the plans of Bill Belichick.  If he knows that Belichick plans to step down in the next couple of years, he may be sticking around as some sort of heir apparent to the reigns there in New England.  That may be what's really in play here.

All of the above I'd say. Even his agent dropped his detritus feeder ass.

3 assistant coaches from the (gag) Patriots organization are signed and in house at the time he called and declined.

That entire Pats organization is rotten to the core. And the hate for them has grown exponentially over the last 36 hours here in Indy.

Brady was clearly showing his age and a sharp decline in his skills in SB 52 in my opinion. I look and hope for the end to their reign of cheating filled championships in the next 3-5 years; perhaps sooner. 😡

That is what I was wondering, was anyone concerned about having someone who came from an organization with that kind of reputation? I'm not a big fan so I wasn't sure if it would matter to fans.

Unfortunately, I don't think it would matter to fans.  It would play out in any other city exactly as it's played out in New England.  As long as the ends (winning) are met, they wouldn't care about the means to get there.  Unfortunate, but I believe to be true.

The NFL has its problems, many of them major. But declining to visit the white house is not one of them. . .

King Cheeto is not amused so he canceled the Eagles visit. Instead he's going to spew and have the USMC Band play the national anthem while anyone else stupid enough to attend stands with their hands over their hearts; while the "King" secretly pretends they are doing it for him and at his command.

From the White House...

After extensive discussions with the Eagles organization, which began in February, the team accepted an invitation from the President to attend a June 5 celebration of their victory in Super Bowl LII at the White House.

On Thursday, May 31, the team notified the White House of 81 individuals, including players, coaches, management, and support personnel, who would attend the event.  On Friday, the Secret Service cleared them for participation.  These individuals, along with more than 1,000 Eagles fans, were scheduled to attend the event.

Late Friday, citing the fact that many players would not be in attendance, the team contacted the White House again, and attempted to reschedule the event.  The President, however, had already announced that he would be traveling overseas on the dates the Eagles proposed.  The White House, despite sensing a lack of good faith, nonetheless attempted to work with the Eagles over the weekend to change the event format that could accommodate a smaller group of players.  Unfortunately, the Eagles offered to send only a tiny handful of representatives, while making clear that the great majority of players would not attend the event, despite planning to be in D.C. today.  In other words, the vast majority of the Eagles team decided to abandon their fans.

Upon learning these facts, the President decided to change the event so that it would be a celebration of the American flag with Eagles fans and performances by United States Marine Band and the United States Army Chorus.
