The Bears finally got someone that gives me a reason to watch them again, by today's signing  of defensive end Jared Allen.

Allen is a monster and a force to be reckoned with on the field. I cannot wait to see how he does with the Bears.

Now,  if only they'd get rid of that wimpy excuse of a quarterback!

Yeah, I got wind of that double-murder investigation being focusing on him back when they busted his ass for the original murder. I read he was charged in that double-homicide earlier today and had the same thought you posted here. Unbelievable that such a young, talented, and successful individual would take such a path. . .  :spooked:

It is amazing how many of these talented sports stars go the wrong way and the talent goes to waste.

Robert Mathis and his wife were having trouble conceiving, so they went to a fertility doctor. The doctor prescribed drugs for both him and his wife. Mathis asked the doctor whether these drugs would put him in violation of the NFL's drug policy, and was told no.

Today, the NFL suspended him for the first 4 games of the season for a violation of its policy against performance enhancing drugs. . .

I don't know whether to believe it is due to the new stadium thing getting us the last one we had, or because of Irsays addiction repeat. Probably a little bit of both.
