Well, the Peyton Manning choke theory is alive and kicking; and Irsay is popping a couple of extra pills in celebration.  :mad: :mad:

This was an absolute no contest from the very first snap. There goes 4 hours of my life I'll never get back.

Here at the stall it was the "Flu-Bowl", with yours truly, my wife, daughter, son-in-law, and the punkinhead all suffering from it. Nobody had an appetite, nor the will to fix anything to snack on, and one could barely hear the play by play over the din of coughing, hacking, wheezing, and sneezing going on during the damned game.

The most excitement we had was chasing the punkinhead around, much as Seattle was chasing the multitude of Denver turnovers, because he also has diarrhea and was leaking.

And for the record, the best thing about the whole god damned fiasco was the Budweiser Commercial with the pup.

It's over now, and nothing but the damned flu remains. Good-fucking-night!  :mad:

CBS fired Shannon Sharpe and Dan Marino from the NFL today show for next season.

I told you guys Irsay is still popping pills, and as of 3 this morning he is been charged with DUI and 4 felony counts of possession of schedule IV prescription drugs without a prescription.

I heard this on my way into work this morning.  I thought of you  :razz: .  I know of your love and admiration of him.   :biggrin:

It will be interesting to see how this plays out.

The NFL has already stated that he is subject to the NFL's policies and will be disciplined.

How much you want to bet he moves out of state; or at a minimum begins spending a huge chunk of off season time out of state.

Hell, even the people who spend a TON of time with Jim Irsay, and his closest advisors, have been asking him to get a driver and get some help.

I've been saying he's back on the pills for quite awhile now, and it turns out I am right. And I don't spend ANY time around him or research his life at all. I just take the glimpses of his public life the media serves up and it was pretty clear to me that he was abusing. His twitter account blew his cover very readily.  :yes:

The sad part of it all is that when you get right down to it, it isn't his fault entirely. It is his genetics.

His father was a HUGE substance abuser, and it was a key component to the Colts ending up in Indy to begin with; because his alcohol abuse drove his knee jerk reactionary thinking process and cause him to make unreasonable decisions. It's well documented.

So Jim should have known early on, and he likely did because he supposedly doesn't drink, that he is genetically predisposed to substance abuse. The mistake he likely made was to believe that it only pertained to alcohol. It doesn't. It includes any substance, as he should have realized in his rehab the first time around. FAIL!
