He definitely shows promise, I'll give you that. But unless the offensive line gets a revamp in the off-season, he will be the one with neck problems instead of Peyton!

Carolina is fired up right out of the gate, and already one of the 49ers just received a very PAINFUL looking injury. Looks like his left knee may be snapped; and the replay reminds me of the Theisman injury. . .  :eek:

This Seattle vs San Fran game is definitely 180 degrees from the Denver game. The refs are making a LOT of calls and some of them are totally wrong!  :rant:

Well, if Seattle is similar to NE, defense wise, it won't be; and there is every indication they will be.

My prediction is that Manning will pick them apart, very much like he did NE, and it may even be a blowout. Especially if Seattle pulls the same shite they pulled on San Fran.

We all know that not only is Manning a franchise player, but he has the added responsibility of being a League player as well. He personifies the best of what the league wants to project surrounding its players; and in addition is coming out of a record setting season with Denver.

That being said I strongly suspect that the refs will be given instructions with those facts in mind; and the hankies will be flying and often if Seattle continues down the path of replacing the Raiders as the leagues dirtiest playing team.

I saw body slams, suplex's and various other wrestling moves being used in their game against the 49'ers, and I predict that if they try to use those tactics against Denver, the zebras will penalize them to the point of negative yardage being the results for them.

I have confidence that Manning can handle the seahawks defence, but I think Russel Smith and Marshawn Lynch can keep it interersting.  I think it could be a real shoot out.  I certainly HOPE that they (Manning and company) embarrass Richard Sherman.  He opened his mouth about how great he is..........I hope he is schooled....and learns about greatness and humbleness.
