Hey PH, it is NOT the NFL, but.....

The USFL plans to kick off in March, 2014 with eight teams spread across the United States in cities that will embrace the league as a new form of affordable sports entertainment. Unlike its predecessor in the 1980s, the USFL will not compete with the NFL - it will always be a spring football league, and it will allow its players and personnel to move freely to football's highest level in its role as a developmental league.

Jeff Saturday will sign a one day contract with the Indianapolis Colts tomorrow, and announce his permanent retirement from the sport, (as a player), immediately afterwards.

The Colts are doing this in order to allow him to retire as a Colt after spending a season with the Pack last year.

Seriously, he's a substandard NFL player.  I honestly can't believe the Pats signed him.  Bill Belichick must just want to poke his finger in Rex Ryan's eyeball.  ;D

From what I read, Belli's a bit above warm over him. (Belli strikes me as perhaps battling dementia though).  :icon_twisted:
