Yes it was a good game, glad to see the 49'ers beat them!

Being a Green Bay fan, I was actually pulling for Tom Brady for once.  ;D

Anyone see Josh Brent all smiles on the Cowboys' sideline this weekend?  If so, what did you think about it?

I guess he left on his own in the second half, after several complaints about him being there.  You reap what you sow...

It was in poor taste at a minimum.   Jerry Jones supported him being there originally, but it was later reported that he was never asked if he could be on the sideline.   I don't guess we'll be seeing him there anymore however.

And in other news, the Jets have benched Sanchez and they did NOT give the nod to Tim Tebow to start on Sunday.

He better be callin' ole' Jeebus for another NFL gig.  ;D

I saw that, kind of makes you wonder why they even got him in the first place.

Yep!

But you have to admit, he's shaky at best.  I don't really think he's starting quarterback material regardless of where he may land next.

What makes this hard to grasp is that in college, he had 5 NCAA, 14 Southern Conference, 8 University of Florida records.  He was the SEC's all-time leader in career passing efficiency, completion percentage and A BIG ONE his passing TD's to Interception ratio (5.5 to 1) he had most yards rushed by QB (2947), rushing touchdowns (any position) (57), and total touchdowns responsible for (145).
He also ranked second in career passing efficiency, third in career yards per attempt (9.33), 8th in career rushing touchdowns, and also owns the record for most consecutive games in which he both threw at least one touchdown pass and scored at least one rushing touchdown (14).

I mean these are some amazing numbers..................BUT, then again, it is NOT THE NFL.
I just find it amazing he cannot take that step needed to become a legit NFL QB.

I heard he is asking to be traded. . .

What is really mind-numbing is why the Jets would spend MILLIONS on this guy in the first place. The last few personnel decisions that team has made leaves me wondering if someone in the front office is smoking crack!

My thoughts too....I thought they were at least going to use him to run, throw and keep things mixed up.......and they just have not used him at all.

Adding yet another wrinkle to the story: the soon-to-be out of contract Michael Vick is one of the team's potential replacements for Sanchez.

That kind of stays right in line with what they HAVE been doing in the front office....NOW it makes sense.

Looks like the road to the Super Bowl in the NFC will go through Atlanta.  Personally, I expect them to lose in the divisional round.  ;D

This is good news:

Pagano to return to Colts on Monday, pending blood tests

By By Albert Breer and Jeff Darlington

Indianapolis Colts coach Chuck Pagano , in remission after being diagnosed with leukemia in September, will have bloodwork done on Sunday, and if all goes well in that final step, Pagano will return to full-time work with the Colts on Monday, the team said.

The Colts had set this week as the target a couple months ago. Pagano was cleared by doctors last week.

He's been at several Colts home games, but next Sunday -- assuming things go to plan -- would be his first one working since the diagnosis.

The Colts have rallied to a 9-5 record behind interim coach Bruce Arians , and are on the cusp of an AFC wild-card berth. Indianapolis clinches a playoff spot with a victory against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday .
