Getting Luck was a brilliant move!  and, as I stated at the beginning of the season, they would finish 8-8.....I think we are more than likely going to make the playoffs, but still have to win one or two more to assure it.

Manning is having his second best season ever this year, as far as QB ratings are concerned......

Wow! what a great ending the Colts had..........fun stuff!!

The Colts were lucky Manning got injured when he did.  That's about it.  Nothing much brilliant about it.   Had Manning not been injured, Luck would be playing somewhere else.

Not saying "Luck" had nothing to do with it....but, there was a lot of pressure to keep Peyton and take our chances, and Irsay decided to be the bad guy, and let Manning go....he caught a lot of grief over this, but did it.  Now, it is working out for both the Colts and Manning.

I miss Manning, but I am elated to have Luck and his ability to perform...along with what seems like a decent defence, an improving offensive line....and a very good coaching staff.........all part of the front offices plans to keep our Colts a team in contention.

IF the Colts make it to the playoffs, they may very well face the Broncos and Peyton Manning. One and done at best for the Colts, but how sweet would the Karma be to see them sent packing by Manning?

They've already done better than I thought they would. But with such an easy schedule who wouldn't ?

That is why I said they would go 8-8...they had a fairly easy schedule....But they HAVE really done very, very well, beyond everyone's expectations .... and hey, who knows, once they playoffs start, anything can happen....but, I would have to bet on Manning if that scenerio would occurr.

Kansas City Chiefs linebacker Jovan Belcher and a woman believed to be his girlfriend are dead, after Belcher apparently shot and killed her, then drove to Arrowhead Stadium and shot and killed himself.

You know, I have been a fan of Bob Costas for years now..........but, he is now on my dumbass list.  He is blaming the death of Jovan Belcher and his girlfriends because he had access to a gun.  I'm also tired of the "I feel sorry" crowd, for this moron from K.C.  He is not a nice guy.....he KILLED a person.  He KILLED the mother of his own child.

I have a hard time finding sympathy for a person who does such a thing.........to kill himself is one thing.  But, he MURDERED someone else first.

I'm sure there is going to be sympathizers blaming this on Football now too!  That the concussions may be responsible!

The bottom line is THIS man is responsible.  Not the gun, not the NFL...........this man...Jovan Belcher!  - DEAD because HE decided to end his life.....my heart and prayers are out to his child he left behind and the family of his girlfriend.

I don't think he was mentioned during the moment of silence that was held prior to the game.  I think all that were mentioned were the families of the victims (dead mother and orphaned baby).  Not 100% positive about that though.  I just caught a report in passing last night.

Cowgirls lost two today. . .  :spooked:

Dallas Cowboys nose tackle Josh Brent was arrested Saturday on suspicion of intoxication manslaughter after his Mercedes flipped, leaving teammate Jerry Brown Jr. fatally injured, police in Irving, Texas, said.
Brent's car was allegedly traveling at a high speed when it hit a curb, flipped and caught fire, according to Irving police, who said officers on the scene "believed alcohol was a contributing factor in the crash."
The car traveled about 900 feet after hitting the curb, said police spokesman John Argumaniz.

Joshua Price-Brent, 24, was arrested on suspicion of intoxication manslaughter involving the death of Dallas Cowboys teammate Jerry Brown.
When officers came upon the scene, Brent was dragging Brown, 25, from the car, officials told reporters.
Brown was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Brent, 24, who is in his third season with the team, was booked into the Irving City Jail on one count of intoxication manslaughter, police said. It's considered a second-degree felony, which carries a potential two- to 20-year prison sentence with a maximum $10,000 fine. . .

So what; nobody watching football today? The season is almost over already and no one is watching?

The Dolts squeak out another one today by barely beating the Titans.

The Vikes beat the Bears.

The Saints are having their asses handed to them at the hands of Manning and the Giants. . .

The magic number for the Colts is down to one.....though many of their wins has been close, a win is a win.........what a great year for them....they have exceeded all expectations.
