Total Jackanape, over the edge with no hope for recovery.

You should be very proud of yourself: people like you are exactly what I learned to be the norm in your dying town, exactly why your property values aren't worth shit, exactly why I sold my house there at a loss and chose to move back to civilization, exactly why no one with the ability to do even rudimentary research would never consider moving or locating their business there and exactly why the downward spiral of Madison county continues.  Good job; wallow in your mediocrity!
Arguing with Christians is like playing chess with a pigeon.  No matter how good I am at chess, the pigeon is just going to knock over the pieces, shit on the board and strut around like it's victorious.

The truth is slow, but relentless. Over time it becomes irresistible.

More than likely with your attitude you used everyone up here and had to leave town to start over.  Contrary to what you may think Ex you are no better than anyone else you're just different. Putting others down only shows how insecure you really are 'cause people who are secure don't have to stoop that low to make themselves look big.

Go with that, you washed up old hag, wallow in your dying town where you belong...you'd never fit in any society in which breeding, integrity and couth are part of life's fabric.

Don't want to those people are too much like you...full of themselves and fake.  I prefer to be with people who have manners, actually care about each other, and with whom you can be yourself.

That's like saying, "we like it here in the ghetto."

No, it is not.  You take it that way because you see anyone who isn't on your level as ghetto which is totally not true and which is what makes you an insufferable ass.  There are people who actually are in the ghetto who have more respect for others than you and they also have couth than you will ever hope to have.  You are a snob in every sense of the word because you hold yourself above others constantly and you are no better than anyone.  Stripped of all your "stuff" you are just the same as the next guy whether you choose to believe it or not.

My lack of respect for most Andersonians has nothing to do with who has what but with not only their willingness but preference for ignorance.  Your portrayal of the town as some sort of altruistic utopia teeming with tolerance for their fellow man is a mischaracterization on a grand scale.  Only people like you seem oblivious to it; the rest of the state sees you as a joke which is precisely why no one is beating a path up I-69 to live there despite the good deals on real estate the city has to offer.  You will, of course, believe whatever you'd like but, once again, overwhelming observable evidence is on my side.

You are putting words in my mouth and putting your own spin on what I'm saying.  I am talking about people in general not a city or people in a particular city.  If you are looking at the city of Anderson in it's entirety as a ghetto you are still wrong and being snobby.  There are still a lot of wonderful people here and you do not put down an entire city just because you weren't able to make it here.

If by, "make it here," you mean I didn't fit in because I wasn't raised in Andertucky and hadn't fucked everyone in town, some of whom were my own relatives, or that I insured my daughter wasn't out whoring around and getting pregnant at fourteen like several of her classmates (whose mothers were thrilled to get a grand-baby) or that I was well spoken or literate or drove Mercedes instead of a Buick, you're god-damned right; I didn't, "make it there."  Good riddance to bad rubbish and as I've said previously, wallow in your white trash swamp.  It's really unfortunate for those in your town and on this forum who have some intelligence that white trash like you are the determining factor in their property values but that's pretty much how it works out.  I sold the house I owned in Broadripple before moving to Anderson at an almost 200% profit after six years.  I sold my property in Anderson at a loss after more or less the same time period despite my having put probably $20,000.00 into the property during that time.

The problem with Anderson isn't proximity to jobs or the property values...one can get a very nice property at a very reasonable price in your town...the problem with Anderson is people like you.  Try as you may to deflect the blame onto me and call me too full of myself or whatever but the fact still remains that it isn't just me that doesn't want to live there, it's pretty much everyone...no one wants to live in Anderson because people like you live there.

Ex, you're wrong about most of the people.  I never have live in Anderson, but in a town very close.  I spent a lot of time and did some work in Anderson and it was a fine city until General Motors left.  General Motor killed Anderson, Flint and Pontiac and a few more towns.

The corporations, like Whirlpool, GM, Ford, U.S. Steel. Otis Elevator, GE, Westinghouse and so many more of the predatory corporations took some or all of their business out of the country.  This is why America has lost 50,000 manufacturing businesses.

Then people wonder why we are in a depression.  Ask your fellow Republicans why this happened under George W.

You're sure awfully bitter for some reason Ex and I don't think it has a damn thing to do with Anderson or the people who live here but you sure want to blame them.  I was raised in Muncie and I don't like that town and wouldn't move back there if someone paid me but I don't put down people who live there just because I don't like it.  I still have some very good friends there.  Got a hot news flash for ya Ex you still are no better than me or anyone else no matter what you may think.

Actually, I am.  Despite your claims to the contrary, not all people are equal.  Some people are kind and empathetic and some people are mean and selfish; the former are better people than the latter.

This is one thing I have to agree with you EX.  She sure thinks she is better than anyone under her status in life.  She wants to stand on everyone's throat to tries to get up and stand up to the Super Rich and the Predatory Corporations.  :@#%&:
