Since they are paying to advertise they go where they can reach the most people.   If no one is reading the paper, or very few are, why would they want to pay big bucks to advertise there?  If no one is listening to or watching certain media shows why would they flock to advertise there?  Corporations advertise where they have the best results and their advertising will be seen by as many people as possible they could care less about the politics of the program they just want to get seen.  Now they may care about the type of program like Disney wouldn't advertise on a program with sexual content, nudity, violence, or something along those lines, but they could care less about the politics of a show if enough people are viewing it.  Now if they reap millions from their advertising it's because people liked what they seen and purchased their product or service.  Private enterprise at work again.

Well duh, if you couldn't have made money at plumbing would you have kept doing it?  You keep forgetting one thing here in all of this.  They are providing jobs and if they can't make money why bother.  That's what free enterprise is all about which is what you don't get. From where I sit is seems you are the one begrudging someone having money.

Now finish that.  A corporation which overpriced its product and therefore the consumer quit buying the product so it is dying due to its own greed.  It also didn't take into consideration, quick enough, the internet because they believed there would always be a market for printed news.   Private enterprise at work again.

I watched a show from LINK TV last night is was called the "OIL HOLE"  It was about the search for the people who built the  100 mile per gallon automobiles, old Buicks and old Ford V-8s,  had built them and they either quit afraid for their lives, suddenly died or were bought out.  How the oil companies stop these cars, how they control the price of oil and how they manipulate the market.

One thing I thought was very interesting when the oil price really spikes up suddenly and the oil companies raise their gasoline prices,  the oil companies like BP are still paying around $3 a barrel for the oil  they are still pumping out of the Gulf of Mexico.  We are being stuck in the ass for the new price on the gasoline, hundred of thousands of gallons of gas they made on the old world price, but they are still paying $3 a barrel out in the gulf and why should the price of natural gas go up when crude oil goes up.  When the natural gas comes out of the Gulf out on it's own pressure.  I have sit under the natural gas rigs, out in the Gulf and hear the sound of the gas coming out as the price of crude oil soared and gasoline was $4.50 a gallon.

No wonder they are the most profitable businesses in the world and they still cheat.  The citizens of the world are all stupid to let the thieves get by with it.

Yep "ME" and Henery is for it.  Let the corporations charge what every they want for the oil we own in the ground.  They don't pay one damn dime for the oil they pump out of the people's earth.

Watch LINKS documentary "THE OIL HOLE" Watch it.  It will make you sick, all of us working people are SCHMUCKS for letting the people in Washington DC to let this continue and we taxpayers give the oil companies tax breaks.      Just think the Tea Party and the Republicans are for it 100%       and I myself can't do a damn thing about it and we have people who claim they are tax payers condone it.

You know is sorta like a science fiction thing.  Where some corporations started collecting oxygen out of the air and storing it.  When it got to hard for the people to live without oxygen these corporations would charge us money for them to release just enough for us to live.  While the CEOs and the super rich who owned them had oxygen lines ran to the homes, offices and cars and everybody else had to pay for their oxygen they took out of our air.  Sound good doesn't it.  But it's that way with oil and oil products and byproducts.      Just :stop: and think about this. :puke:

Great documentary and explains the issues very well.  It was a primary factor in my starting to burn E85 in my Tahoe.

And did they day how much of the cost of a gallon of  gas is tax, state, federal, and what ever else tax the government puts on it?  Hell no they didn't 'cause you are supposed to believe that the entire cost at the pump is theirs, the oil companies.    Did they bother to say that a lot of that profit is invested right back into the business?  Hell no they didn't.  Just exactly who sponsored and produced it?

You're wasting your time, Troll; there is no talking to people who have convinced themselves they are far more intelligent and better informed than they actually are.  You dogged me for suggesting that she participate in an IQ test comparison but that request had a not unreasonable basis...and it was a foregone conclusion that she wouldn't partcipate.
