I don't disagree with any of that. . . My point is that in their rush to "burn a witch", they will overlook the hypocrisy doing so highlights. . . Had the man been on the other side of the aisle they'd be clamoring to extend forgiveness once he fessed up and got treatment for his "disorder".

Personally, I don't endorse either approach. . . I say he should be forced to resign, and let the people determine who replaces the jackass. . . (As if that replacement wouldn't be just as big, or a bigger jackass). . .

So, it is not just Christians? I thought "Christians" were the majority? Isn't that why the religious agenda exists within certain political parties?
