With "birthers" mostly silent, "deathers" are now pushing a new conspiracy theory.

The release of President Obama's birth certificate last week apparently tamped down -- to a large degree -- skeptics who questioned whether he could legally serve as president because they said he wasn't a natural-born citizen. Now, a surprisingly diverse crop of people are questioning whether Osama bin Laden is actually dead.

At the time you are speaking of here, Bin Laden was pro American. It wasn't until he was ousted from Saudi Arabia and Sudan did he 'declare war' on the West.

Besides.... There is no proof that the US trained or aided Bin Laden in any way. This whole thing started by a BBC article after 9/11 and is denied by the US, Pakistan, the Afgan Mujahideen,  Ayman al-Zawahiri and Bin Laden himself.

I don't know what 'sources' you have been looking at but every report I have seen says that the courier's nickname was found out by interrogating Khalid Sheikh Mohammed. He wasn't captured until after 9/11. He didn't give the name until after he had been waterboarded. He also gave up the info while being held in a secret 'black' prison. Your assertion about having the nickname before the enhanced interrogation techniques is wrong.

If you read the links I included in an earlier post you'll see a small sample, and the fact that even they appear to contradict one another on the point surrounding the courier. . . proving NONE of the sources are to be trusted.

During Operation Cyclone (from 1979 to 1989), the United States provided financial aid and weapons to the mujahideen leaders through ISI. (You do the math).
