We finally killed the son-of-a-bitch.  May he burn in hell. :devil29:

Long live America and long live Obama the Commander in Chief with his new plan in Afghanistan which lead to the death of this bastard.  Old George W. and his Republicans couldn't do it, but Obama and his team got it done. :4th4: :salute: :tiphat:

I'm sure that by tomorrow, someone will be asking for his death certificate...is this the beginning of the "deathers"?

It has already started.

Osama buried at sea.  I wonder at what alitude he was buried at.  I hope around 20,000 ft.  That is as close as he get to his 76 virgins and to heaven.

as Mrs. Obama once said, .... for the first time in her adult life she is proud to be an American.....well, for the first time since his presidency, I am proud of this POTUS.  I salute him.  He took a chance on this operation that, if went wrong, could have been the nail in his coffin.  Instead, it was a success, and he deserves the props.  IF, he has any real leadership he can build off of this and bring Americans together for a common cause....do what is right for America.

I think this sends a loud and clear message, that when Americans set out for justice, despite the time it may take, we WILL not rest until we are successful.

Now, lets bring those boys home!!!!.....Let's do something about Gas prices, inflation, unemployment and immigraton.

But for today, I give a heart felt salute to the White House.

If I could dance I would do a happy dance at the news of Osama's death.

And it happened 2 years into this administration. . .

On the other side of this, it saddens me to hear that yet another human life has been lost in this conflict; despite how deserving and justified we may be and feel in the taking of it.

I personally feel no happiness or sense of accomplishment over the event, however I do feel at some level that mankind's justice has indeed been served. Outside of that, its just another casualty in the eternal state of human conflict.

I feel we as a nation should not revel over the event; for its price has been a steep one in the measure of human life, on both sides. Reveling over it reduces us to the level of those who did the same over the initiating event on September 11, 2001.

Remember how we (Americans) felt when the media published/aired the celebrations conducted post 9/11 by those on the other side? We're no better or worse than them in that regard, and we should be.

Yes, it is a milestone in the initiative, and a hard won one. But I see no difference in the world today that would warrant celebration. . .  Another sick and twisted mind will just replace the one we eliminated. . .

But is one less we have to deal with.

In the grand scheme of things, and reality, it is not the top 1, 2, 3, or even 4 that represent what "we deal with', (as a nation and globally), but rather the ripple effect of their twisted, self-worship, that specifically targets and encompasses the weak minded individuals that society nurtures; who by their sheer numbers and their propensity for parroting and endless proliferation, make it virtually impossible to positively influence the environment that perpetuates the endless and senseless slaughter of human life.

Until we reach a level of deaths, by our own hand, that is universally unacceptable to us as a species, the slaughter will continue unchecked. Or we will become extinct. Whichever comes first.

I for one, happy the bastard is dead.  I feel that we can not kill enough enemy.   You kill they until they leave you and other people alone.

I would have love to have personally killed the son of a bitch.  Tie his body to a 2,000 pound bomb.  Then attach him and the bomb on a F-18 Hornet and take them up to 20,000 feet and drop them in to the sea.  At just above the sea set off the bomb and blow him to hell. :devil29:

At some level deep down inside, I'd tend to agree with this methodology, however, I have to ask: Just what exactly is attained by doing so? What great contribution does this accomplish? How does it positively impact any sector of society today, when the reality is there are thousands more just like him to automatically fill the void created? How would doing such a thing positively influence those global entities (read: Pakistan) that make a lucid decision to harbor and support such individuals and their initiatives?

Yeah, it might provide a nanosecond or two of perceived victory or achievement, but such are false and short lived in reality, and in the end serve only to further inflame the twisted logic and grandiose facades of those who assume the figurehead roles of such entities.

In the war between the states we kick ass and it has seem to work.  WW 1  we kick ass but we mess up on the peace.   WW 2 we kick ass and we change the whole world.

If we had treated Korea and Nam the same as WW 2 things would have been better than it turned out.  We stopped to soon.   Same thing for Afghanistan and Iraq 1.  We stopped to soon.
