Agreed; you go first.  If you and I made the same amount of money, you would pay less taxes because you get to deduct your children and I have none.  At the same time, your children use up resources that cost tax dollars...schools for example.  While you're on your soap box about not taking money away from people and giving it to other people, ask yourself whether or not that is exactly what is happening in this situation by my being forced to subsidize your family.

You're right Exterminator.  Why should Henery for that matter of fact anyone, why should they get a tax cut because the sex organs work.   MY boy is 47 and I'm still  paying school tax.  It ain't right.  The Republicans want us to pay for vouchers for private schools.

I never said I was....but I am employeed by one.....and I want the gov to let him do his job to be as profitable as he can, so that he can (and will) spread the wealth.....pretty simple and just plain common sense....something that seems to have left Washington several years ago.

IF HE GETS HIT FOR MORE TAXES, THEN I DON'T SEE HOW HE CAN CONTINUE WITHOUT MAKING SOME DRASTIC CHANGES.  BUT TO ANSWER YOUR QUESTION, I DON'T THINK SO, BUT WHO KNOWS.

Hum, lets see now.  Our credit rating has been downgraded for the first time ever, unemployment is at the 10% level, businesses are closing or moving out of the country, the deficit is sky rocketing....what to do....        :idea2: I know....we'll raise the debt ceiling, give a bunch of money to Brazil for oil drilling, do some more stimulus packages, raise taxes, (on just the rich of course ),  create a bunch of green jobs, (it broke Spain but we're different ), and then print some more money and everyone can work for the government and have fine cars, houses, clothes,  free health care, and live high on the hog for their entire lives complements of the government.....ya, really good thinkin' there.  Damn, and with the unions to help protect them they won't even have to really work and can't be fired either.

Downgraded by one of the agencies that gave packaged sub-prime mortgages AAA ratings?  Yeah, they're believable.

Who shares with you the boss' confidential financial information?  I rather doubt it.  How about you simply admit that your statements about his ability to continue doing business are nothing but hyperbole and we move on?

how about you accept the FACT that any increased debt brought on by the government during a time of economic hardship is a bad idea.  And, you have no idea what kind of role I play with my place of employement.

btw, I do share our sentiments regarding Standard and Poor and their ability to rate ANYTHING, nonetheless our U.S. Credit rating.
