Wrong. 🙄
Then why the name calling and put downs? Deplorables, uneducated, misogynsts, racist, homophobes, and those are just a few of the names the right gets tagged with regularly because they don't agree with the politics of the left. Old Hill even said on one of those talk shows that women didn't vote for her because their husbands made them vote for Trump. Really???? Really????

Using your logic, calling someone a pedophile is name-calling simply because you don't agree with their sexual inclinations.

deplorable - deserving strong condemnation
uneducated - lacking education
misogynist - a person who dislikes, despises, or is strongly prejudiced against women
racist - someone who believes his/her race is superior to others
homophobe - a person with an extreme and irrational aversion to homosexuality and homosexual people
Arguing with Christians is like playing chess with a pigeon.  No matter how good I am at chess, the pigeon is just going to knock over the pieces, shit on the board and strut around like it's victorious.

The truth is slow, but relentless. Over time it becomes irresistible.

I know the definition of those words and to just throw them out there because someone disagrees with you or as an excuse as to why you lost is not right and it's childish. Your example is a poor one to say the least. If a person is a pedophile that's what they are but if you just throw it out there without actually knowing is a different thing. Those things the left is throwing out there are being done as excuses and they are doing it to a group of people they don't know and have never met.

Patriotism isn't about making everyone stand and salute the flag.

Patriotism is about making this a country where everyone wants to.

As PH said, wrong!

I don't have to meet Jared to know he's a pedophile.  I don't have to meet Trump to know that 'grab 'em by the *****' is a misogynist statement.  I don't have to meet someone carrying a nazi flag to know he's a racist.  I don't have to meet someone who can't consistently conjugate the simplest verbs in the English language to know that she's uneducated.

And by the way, you're the queen of throwing things out there without actually knowing anything.

So in your way of thinking it's perfectly acceptable if a person believes the same as you for them to do these things but not for someone who believes differently to do the same then? Kennedy, Clinton, Bird, and Weiner, just to name a few, are to be excused for their behaviour because they believe as you do even though they did just as bad, or worse, than those who believe differently. What a crock.

Once we require people to stand for the anthem, salute the flag, and say the pledge, then we are no longer the land of the free.

Were you, or was any of your family, ever handed a folded flag at a funeral?

Yes.  Why?  They fought for the freedom to not stand.  This has nothing to do with the veterans or current military.  It all stems from the inequality people of color have to deal with that white people don't and many white people don't understand.

Read this: https://www.nytimes.com/2017/09/25/opinion/colin-kaepernick-football-protests.html?mcubz=0  Here's the important part from Eric Reid, Colin Kaepernick's former teammate: After hours of careful consideration, and even a visit from Nate Boyer, a retired Green Beret and former N.F.L. player, we came to the conclusion that we should kneel, rather than sit, the next day during the anthem as a peaceful protest. We chose to kneel because it's a respectful gesture. I remember thinking our posture was like a flag flown at half-mast to mark a tragedy.

They could protest in a different manner which isn't so offensive to a lot of people. Why is it the left have the opinion they're the only ones who have the right to be offended about something?

It's a peaceful protest.  What do you suggest they do? Did you even read the article?  And what was your point asking me about being handed a folded flag?  Respond to this before you read my next comment please.

The left are the only ones who think they have the right to be offended? Hahahaha! What rock do you live under? Look at the right, particularly the Christian right.  "Someone said "Happy Holidays" to me!"  Oh, no, the world is going to end.  That's being easily offended about something stupid.  How about being offended at the red cup Starbucks put out last holiday season? And look at you yourself.  You were offended when I used some curse words in a reply to you.  They weren't directed at you, but you were offended.

If I remember correctly you were directing the curse words at someone, probably me, and it was totally uncalled for. Had the left not figured out that violence and doing things which are offensive are not going to get them listened to but rather shut out? Have they not figured out that giving up parts of our culture to oppease those who are here illegally from another country but asking them to honor theirs is wrong? Do you reallly not see what's going on?

You didn't answer my questions.  Let's try again.   What do you suggest they do as far as protesting? Did you even read the article? (I'm guessing no by the way you answered.)  And what was your point asking me about being handed a folded flag?

If you have to ask then there's truly no hope. They can protest peacefully by going to the WH and holding signs like most did before this crap was started by the left. All this stupidity needs to stop. Now they're saying Dr. Suess is racist. Don't you really see how ridiculous all this is getting?
