I've been told I'm condescending. (that means I talk down to people)
Arguing with Christians is like playing chess with a pigeon.  No matter how good I am at chess, the pigeon is just going to knock over the pieces, shit on the board and strut around like it's victorious.

The truth is slow, but relentless. Over time it becomes irresistible.

And this should come as no surprise to anyone. Figures show that "deaths of despair", (Deaths caused by substance abuse and suicide), for white males between the ages of 40-55 have skyrocketed since 2000.

They are now occurring at the same rate as African American males of the same age group; who were substantially above the rates for whites in the preceding decades.

Why?

JOBS. . . Unable to support themselves or their families on the income for the jobs they could get, they turned to substance abuse and/or suicide.

Why?

Because even assembly work these days requires a college degree, and those jobs are now paying 50% less than they did 20 years ago; and they are not as numerous as they were 20 years ago either.

Why?

Pandering to the almighty corporations by our elected leadership.

Why?

Because they pad their incomes by paying for favorable legislation.

Why?

Our government is for sale to the highest bidder. . .

What if I flew to a destination for 2 weeks of vacation, without any luggage? I'd wear the exact same clothes the entire time, and since I couldn't wash them without being naked and risking arrest, I'd probably be quite ripe by the time I flew back home. . .

What if all of us did this? Wonder if the airlines would rethink those outrageous baggage fees?  :icon_twisted:

It's an awful experience, especially when there are no other open seats to which you can move.

I wouldn't be surprised to see that list considerably thinned by the time this year's over.

Sad.
