On another note: George Bush Sr looks absolutely awful! ! !  His wife doesn't look to good either, but much better than he does.

For a 94 year old, who just got out of the hospital with pneumonia and she is 91 who also just got out, I thought they looked rather good, all things considering.

I'm sorry but seeing people unable to care for themselves and in serious quality of life decline, does not bring anything within the same universe as "good" to mind.

I don't know, he is obviously in poor health but we don't know his mental state. He may still be enjoying his life, not the same way he did in his younger days but still enjoying life.

The subject (getting real old) makes me think of a picture on a calendar I had years ago: a little ole woman who looked to be in her 60s or 70s was looking in a mirror, and the reflection she saw looked much younger. The caption was: "We're always young inside."  :smile:

Something I'd never thought about before but when I dropped my brother off at the airport Sunday, he didn't go through normal security.  Seems they have a special entrance for credentialed government agents...no scanners, no baggage search, no nothing...and he boarded the plane with a concealed, loaded firearm.
