Those of you seeking to hide away from 2017 via a change in venue, take a look at this shack for sale in Chicago, Il.

One of the landmark Mansions of the grand old city, it was paid for by Oscar Mayer in Evanston IL during 1901. He didn't move into it until 1927 though.

For a cool 2.95 million it can be yours! (Beware though; Illinois does not have that 1% property tax cap!)

Wow!  Gorgeous woodwork in some of the rooms, and I love the stairway.  Any one want to buy it for me and then move it some place warm?   ;D

The more I think about it the more it irritates me. Went to the Red Lobster for a late lunch yesterday and got the NY strip and lobster tail, I got asparagus as one of the sides. Cost us $85 bucks and I've made better at home for much less. The steak was over salted badly, the asparagus was dried up not very good, and the lobster tail was tasteless and tough. How do you get tough lobster tail? Didn't complain but certainly should have. Won't be going back again for sure.

Red Lobster isn't that good and neither is Olive Garden.

We made our last trip to Olive Garden about 5 yrs ago and we used to like both. Heck, now that I can buy the cheese biscuts at the grocery store no need to go to  Red Lobster anyway.

Have you ever made your own?  They are really simple to make.

I imagine it was the cook they had Sat afternoon, which does make a difference, but we won't chance it again for that kind of money.

It's always far cheaper to make it yourself.

Overcook it.

We tend to not eat out as there are so many horror stories about employees not washing their hands after using the bathroom, employees having hepatitis or something else so I prefer to cook.

A couple of times but, even though they were close, I like the ones in the box better which is odd 'cause I normally like from scratch things better.
