So I call my father who since his bout where he was on almost on death's door, went to nursing home and then miraculously has returned home. Anyway, I call him and ask how he is.
His comment always makes me laugh. His statement was not in the obituaries, not 6 feet under, not in the court records and not in jail. Damn fine day.

That's an awesome line!  I'll have to use that, but hopefully not for a few decades.

Thanks, he has been saying this for more than 30 years. Started using it after he retired as a teacher.

I think I'll pass on  that. I might, however, put some at the base of some of my plants to discourage the squirrels from digging around them to bury nuts.  :biggrin:
