I'm happy for him and you, HH. Let the kids spoil him. I wish I had my dog Patch to spoil. She was an Old English Sheepdog and like my third child. She lived about 13 years after I found her, just a tiny ball of fur, in a cardboard box on the side of a street where I walked before going to work.

Well we are not sure, and I can never prove it but I am suspecting the groomer somehow caused a blunt forced injury on him.
He was fine until we took him that morning.... Then around noon the groomer called and said she noticed his urine was pink, then about an hour later she said it was dark.

I left work immediately and got him.  The vet ruled out several symptoms and was suspicious when I told him where I took him.

I can tell you that he will not be returning there again.


I am looking for a new for his next visit.

Suspicious indeed.  I obviously don't take my dog to a groomer but I do know someone on the northeast side of Indy (56th and Emerson) if you want her contact info.  She works out of a vet's office.

I am not saying it was Pet Smart you took yours too but they are notorious for causing accidents to dogs. Had a friend that they let her little Lhasa jump off the grooming table and it ended up breaking its back and killing it.

I went there ONCE.  It won't happen again.

I have a family friend who is in the business and is a very sweet person.  I think I will let her have a try with him.

Yeah, we don't take our dogs there. We have a place here that the lady is really good and very reasonable, she charges like $25.00 for our dog who is small.
