He is one VERY healthy Hawk as you can see by that picture. He finished his squirrel snack in place and then flew over to a large tree in our lot and roosted awhile as he let his meal digest.  8)

Well the mystery of the dates on the bottom of the picture is solved.  ;D  I called the damn place. 

That picture was given to the owner of the restaurant by his brother who worked on the space shuttle program.  The owner's brother acquired the picture as a gift at his retirement party.  ;D

The dates on the bottom are the beginning and ending dates of his career with NASA.

Yet another solid jobs report!  Mitt Romney said that if he were elected, and given a chance to implement his bold economic vision, freeing the nation of the scourge that is Obama's crushing agenda, the unemployment rate would drop to "6 percent" – maybe even "a little lower" – by the end of 2016.

So ... when will the repugs admit that Obama's 5% is better?

Heading home tomorrow from New Mexico. Had a great time with our kids, both of them, and some of the grandkids. Got to hold and play with the newest grandbaby, too.

ST. LOUIS (FOX 13) -

Police in St. Louis say they tracked down a burglary suspect, and his name is Bud Weisser.

The 18-year-old's ironic arrest came after an investigation into a burglary in August, police said. The police department tweeted that Weisser is charged with breaking into an Exxon gas station in August.

He could face up to 7 years in jail.

FOX 2 reports that Weisser shattered a window in the convenience store and even escaped a police chase. Later, police said, evidence linked Bud Weisser to the crime.

ST. LOUIS, Mo. — Police arrested a 19-year-old man with a familiar name at a Budweiser brewery here this week.

Thursday evening, police officer's responded to a call at the brewery, where an altercation had occurred between a suspect and a security guard.

It was later learned that the suspect, Bud Weisser, had entered a secured area of the brewery and was asked to leave by the security guards. Police were called in when he refused.

Weisser was taken into police custody, then issued summonses for trespassing and resisting arrest.
