Just watched the POTUS do the annual pardoning of the Turkey. (2 this year).

He had both of his daughters at his side during the process, and it was a jovial process.

The POTUS has two very attractive young daughters that he clearly loves and admires. I am happy for him, but do not envy his task in getting them to adulthood intact and unharmed. . . If he thinks being POTUS was hard, it's a cakewalk compared to what he will endure with those two girls!

Nice to see him smiling and sharing a little family time with us. I'm happy he can do so despite the ponderous weight he has been carrying for 7 years. . .

Okay, I will go along with those sentiments.......despite my dislike for his leadership......I agree, raising daughters can be strenuous.......looking back at pictures of his inaugural he has AGED quite a bit...........that is a job that would take a toll on the best of men (or women)

I was in a restaurant, apparently owned by a fan of the space program, and I found this picture on the wall in the men's restroom.  It's of a launch, possibly the space shuttle, but I'm not 100% certain about that.   What I'm really not certain about are the dates that bookend the bottom of the picture.  It says, "December 30, 1985 - July 31, 2004."  I can't for the life of me figure out what those dates represent.   Anyone else have a clue?

Cool picture. Do you think it might mean 19 years of space exploration?

That wouldn't happen to be a picture of Crabby Joe's in Daytona is it?

No.  That appears to me to be the pier in Cocoa Beach.  It has a tiki bar at the end, and you can make out the structure of the tiki bar in the picture.

That would make more sense, since that is near Kennedy.  But it looks very much like Crabby Joe's pier.  I have been there several times.

I found a webcam at the Crabby Joe's pier (a.k.a. Sunglow Pier).  Looks like a dreary day there in Daytona.
