I thought this was fascinating watching this very well trained dog go through the paces. Do you ever do any of this type of training Ex?

No and I don't know anyone else who does either.  I've seen this floating around the internet several times but think it is being presented as something it is not because I can't imagine any sort of tactical advantage to heeling a dog where you will constantly be stepping on it and/or tripping over it.  Does it look great?  Absolutely!  Is it very good training that results in a flashy obedience picture?  You bet!  I like the dog and I like the training but when I see this, I liken it more to dog dance than to something that would be beneficial for an actual working K9.

Here's an example of a nice dog dance routine...take out the music and dress the handler in BDU's and add an assault rifle as a prop and you get the video of the so-called military working dog in the previous vid:

Arguing with Christians is like playing chess with a pigeon.  No matter how good I am at chess, the pigeon is just going to knock over the pieces, shit on the board and strut around like it's victorious.

The truth is slow, but relentless. Over time it becomes irresistible.

For some reason I ddin't even think of that when I watched the video and I've seen several of the dancing dog videos. On the phone now so can't finish this up but it did give me something to think about when I run across something like this again.

I went to a zoo today.  They had only one animal, a dog.  It was a Shih Tzu.

Not likely. Programming and hacking skills will win the war. The ability to shut down the enemies' infrastructures, etc.

This isn't a game.

I have been thinking that very thing since 9/11/2001. 😱

I have been thinking that very thing since 9/11/2001. 😱

They can take down the electric grid with some well placed explosives in areas that are very rural. Take down a few of the big power lines and you have cascading shutdowns. Doesn't make any difference how the electricity is produced (coal, gas, wind, sola,r hydro or nuclear, taking down the delivery system would work. No high tech required.

And I have been thinking that if the congress and the FAA had not been bought off.  The air lines would have been made to put armored doors on the cockpits and the planes would not have been taken over by crazy Muslims with box cutters.  Just think how much America has lost in money, time and energy we have lost over 9/11,
