Yes, that was wrong but only one and not the same thing.  The "groups" that were targeted were singled out and given lengthy questionnaires to fill out even going as far as asking for the books that had been read by a book club some of the members belong to and reports to be given on each one.  They hampered the ability to get contributions to the party because they were also asking for information on their contributors, even those who didn't have to be disclosed, so they could go after them so it scared people off.  It was not simply singling them out for a simple audit which both parties are guilty of from way back.   As more people wake up you will see what's been going on and ignored by you and others eventually.

Maybe you're the one who needs to wake up.  These groups are clearly political groups that support a specific side of the political spectrum; as such, they do not qualify for 501 (c) (4) status and they're lying if they claim otherwise.

No, they did not.  Even some liberals admit the questionnaires were requesting things out of the ordinary and it was taking an excessive amount of time on many of them as well as the excessive amounts that were being singled out and held up.
