(CNN) - A Tulane University football player was hospitalized after fracturing his spine during a game Saturday, leaving him motionless on the field, a team doctor said.

Devon Walker was injured when he collided head-on with one of his teammates while trying to tackle a Tulsa ball carrier near the end of the first half in the two teams' game.

The Tulane senior lay motionless on the Tulsa field as trainers and doctors rushed onto the field.

  Shucks, I don't have anything that new.  The most favorite one I got is a old 1911 Colt with 8 Black Talon bullets in it.  Through two 9MM Polish Radoms to the sweetest 2 barrel 22 Magnum derringer small enough to fit in you shirt pocket.  Nothing that is to dangerous to criminals.

I do have several .22 rifles; most of them coming from my late father and grandfather so they are really old.

I have a Marlin Model 58 Lever action .22 magnum rifle that is excellent for squirrel and such. . .

  That rifle looks just like mine.  I have had it for years.  I use to sit on my front porch and shoot Starlin's head off when they were in the top of a very tall tree across the street.  Remington pump 22 magnum.  One good rifle.

Model 61.  The gun is older than I am. 

The Winchester Model 61 was the fourth in a series of Slide-Action rifles that Winchester produced.    Unlike its predecessors, the Model 61 had no exposed hammer, an attempt by Winchester to compete with other rifles of the day (e.g., Remington).  The Model 61 was the hammerless replacement for 1890, 1906 and Model 62, especially when the former two models were dropped from production in 1932.  The Winchester Model 61 was produced from 1932 through 1963 with over 342,000 guns sold.
