No, I get it, it is just a stupid analogy.

Uh, do you know what an analogy is?
Arguing with Christians is like playing chess with a pigeon.  No matter how good I am at chess, the pigeon is just going to knock over the pieces, shit on the board and strut around like it's victorious.

The truth is slow, but relentless. Over time it becomes irresistible.

I know a stupid one when I see it....

Slavery was abolished in this country yet every day we are forced to see and endure the enslavement of our congressional leadership by corporate America.

They lie, they cheat, they do anything they can to keep the money flowing from those corporate entities to their personal coffers; and sell out each and every one of us every single day!

It is treason, and only when we the people demand that our congressional leadership be tried for treason, will it end.

For the record, I was talking about those who oppose the hope and change this country desperately need to move FORWARD!

Oh I'm all for change but not this kind of change.  Raising prices, lowering property values, high unemployment, attempted restriction of opposing views, divisiveness, you know, all the stuff that's going on now.

All of this bullshit is Newt Gingrich's Contract For America.  For years caultmating with George W. this is what the Republican caused.  Are you happy that George W. brought this all to fruition.     Old Tweeter.

Good job Horse.  We got 1inch of rain, high winds, bent my flag pole a little bit.  We where out of power Pendleton, Lapel and one side of Anderson had the power go off.  I guess you rain dances have to build up before they are all released at once.  We found around 100 acre corn field the corn was 3 feet tall and tasseling.     Bad.

Speaking of storms. . . We spent half an hour in the storm shelter at work today. One of the guys that works for me owns a dairy farm in Blackford County, and he had to leave because of severe damage to his place. Several very old and large trees were felled and took out an outbuilding or two, along with his electricity.

It was dark on the way home this evening, but I saw plenty of damage despite the low light. Signs blown over along the bypass, and street signs and lights down all through Daleville along with assorted tress and branches. It's dark as hell from 38th to 67th street and the traffic lights are out at 53rd and range line. EMA is out at that intersection with their emergency lights on. (That's an accident, and a bad one, waiting to happen).

There is a HUGE tree top out just up the road from me, and it appears it was laying across the road at some point.

We never lost power, (for a change), but from what I could tell coming home, it appears there are still plenty of areas around Anderson that remain in the dark. . .

I'm convinced that storm was republican. It had a lot of wind in the midwest, but when it got out east it blew even harder!

It rain again last night.  Thunder and some lightening.  Sure a nice morning.  The storm really tore up our campground, up rooting trees.  Trees falling on campers.  Moved a 23ft pontoon boat 50 some feet.  It turned over our large propane bottle.  Pictures of the scene, it, the storm really had a ball.     Nobody hurt.

Oh, one more thing.  I noticed you don't capitalize Republican.  I did it out of, I guess respect.  I really think I will stop this practice, for I don't have any respect for this new republican party and the Tea Baggers.

I'm a sleepy horse today. . . Storms woke me up in the wee hours this morning. Wind, rain, thunder and lightening.

I got up to watch since I haven't seen it storm in quite sometime. . . then I couldn't get back to sleep.

Punkinhead's sleeping right now. . . Maybe Grampy should too?

We didn't have any damage that we can see but lost power for about 12 hours and then again about 8 this morning for about 45 minutes. It rained here for about an hour pretty hard and then again sometime after 4:30 this morning. Sure greened up the grass.
