Ya, but they have one hell of a bite.  My step daughter had two holes in her thumb one time because of a cute, soft rabbit she had as a pet.  She went out to feed him and he bit her.  I will have to say this though she still wasn't afraid of it.

A friend of ours had one he could call and it would come and jump up in the chair with him like a dog would do and sit there with him and eat out of his hand.  Yes, he cleaned up the rabbit pellets she left.  He'd let her out in the yard and she'd follow him around too.  It was soooo cute to watch.  He's one of those people who has always had a way with animals.

Yep, rabbits will bite.  When I was a kid my dad raised rabbits to eat.  We had  big New Zeland rabbits.  I was feeding our big white buck "Bucky" long blades of grass.  Well, I held on two the grass to long and him not looking but just chewing "Bucky" chomped on my finger.  Like you said I had two holes in my finger from Bucky two big buck teeth.

Here were I live we have several wild rabbits.  The protection of the town and plenty of food, like my garden they have moved in.  For the way the farmer farm, there is no food and no fence rows to live in.  Here a rabbit has to pack a lunch to cross one of the fields.  >:(

What I like is when they get comfortable with you and will sit out in the yard and watch you instead of run when you're out.  They still won't let you get too close but they don't seem that afraid either.

Also boy O boy do they love fresh cauliflower, cabbage, Swiss chard  right out of the garden.  Right now after a replant I have chicken wire around my veggies.

I don't have a garden (so far) because there are too many critters -- rabbits, squirrels and birds. A neighbor told me I have a black snake under my back stoop -- I haven't seen it, but did see a baby one, about a foot long, out front. The squirrels are the smartest and most fearless. One year I bought and planted bulbs and the next day most were gone. I planted more and watched -- and the squirrels watched me -- and the minute I went inside there was one pesky one, digging up a bulb. I have learned that they regularly check any place where the soil has been disturbed. They also out-smart me during the winter when I feed the birds.

I planted nasturtiums around the garden one year and the rabbits ate those and left the garden alone for the most part.

Didn't you work for this company, when they canned you and left the country.  As Henry would say, just asking.

Thinking like Henry, if you had left the country, they might have stayed.  Just saying.
