And here is my great grandmother, grandmother, and siblings; from the same time period and on the Kentucky side of things.  :smile:



And my great-great-great grandfather (of my grandfather). He was what passed for a doctor/surgeon during the civil war period, when this was taken.

And just for shits n giggles, this one was taken in 1907 in Kentucky and depicts my great great grandfather and uncles, etc. . . (Lets not forget those fine K9's)  :biggrin:

"I'll Have Another" scratched from the Belmont Stakes due to a leg injury. . . Eliminating the hope for a Triple Crown Winner in the 2012. Last time we had a triple crown winner was in 1978. . .  :'(

One of our friends works at a waterside bar and grill here in South Florida.  Tonight, she was at work when some rough weather moved in.  She was getting ready to take a picture of the dark clouds rolling in over the water and pulled out her iPhone.  Right as she snapped the picture, a lightning bolt struck across the way and she captured this image.  She couldn't do this again if she tried.  My girlfriend told her to buy lottery tickets.  ;D

A Fort Wayne man riding a motorcycle northbound on Interstate 69 in northeast Indiana died after striking a deer.
Huntington County Coroner Phil Zahm says 52-year-old Patrick Harris died of blunt force trauma to the head. Zahm says Harris was not wearing a helmet.
Police in Markle, about 25 miles southwest of Fort Wayne, say Harris was thrown from his motorcycle after hitting the deer about 11:23 p.m. Thursday while headed north on I-69. Harris was pronounced dead at the scene.
