Beijing (CNN) -- More than 200 children have elevated levels of lead in their blood caused by a battery plant near their communities in eastern China, state media said.
At least 23 -- some as young as nine months -- were suffering from "moderate to severe" lead poisoning and have been hospitalized, said the Xinhua news agency, citing a hospital official. Five more were waiting to be hospitalized. . .

there is a fine line between de-regulating and OVER-regulating.

. . .And the blurring of that line is in part responsible for the financial crises and the flight of manufacturing that continues in this country to this very day. . .

Which is why we must be careful of what we buy from China, they either don't care or don't know about minor things like lead poisioning.

And there is hardly anything that can't be made cheaper -- and, therefore, more profitable and probably much more dangerous.

Unless, of course, someone is making sure that laws are being followed.

Oh, that's right, corporations can regulate themselves because they are so trustworthy.

There is one thing about dealing with a corporation.  You will end up broke, poisoned and dead and they will end up rich and buying another Republican Congressman.

And they will buy the Republican Congressmen with the blessing of our Supreme Court.
