How many of my friends are recovering? ;D

We were up late last night, watched the ball drop, waited for the rednecks to stop shooting so that everyone could leave safely and called it a night. It was fun to hang out. Half the people here, I haven't seen in months.

Today? Lay low until later when I meet a friend for a glass of wine or few :biggrin:

Yeah. . . I was up until 5 this morning. . .  :biggrin:

Lots of gunfire around these parts too, but I wasn't one of them. The 10k fine and incarceration was not something I was willing to risk. . .  :icon_twisted:

Today - staying in the stall, cooking up some pork chops, rice, and applesauce for dinner, and maybe my friends Mr Cuervo and Guinness will come out and play again!  :biggrin:

Took down the Christmas decorations, took flowers to the cemetery, actually cooked dinner and soon I need to attend to some actual work on the computer.

Need to do a load or two of laundry but outside of that and the normal cook and clean up thing just what ever the heck I decide I want to do which may be nothing.  :biggrin:

I've been having a great day. I had a project to do and was given another "hot" project last week. See vents thread. I was annoyed because it was due yesterday and I didn't have all the details. I finished it today, exceeding expectations b/c even though it was late, they didn't expect it for another week. I also tweaked it a bit and made it mine and my boss really liked my idea. Truth be told, I was avoiding the other project. It's in an area that I find so completly dull that I try not to grab those packages. Weeelll, I finished it today too. I'll turn it in tomorrow morning. I'm kinda excited about it b/c there's an evaluation due with it and I decided to tweak that too and do it in a comparison type format. It fits, but it's unorthdox. I don't know if I can get lucky twice so - also did a regular old boring eval. ;D. Now tomorrow, I can do my real work. :yes:

Just received my updated CD's of various Yes recordings that I ordered from Amazon. I am downloading them onto my iTunes account and will sync my iPod after I complete downloading. I got:

  • Tales From Topographic Oceans
  • Fragile
  • Drama
  • Going For The One
  • Close To The Edge
  • 90125
  • The Yes Album

Most of them are remastered and contain a few previously unreleased tunes, as well as studio rehersals of previously released tunes. I am anxious to hear them all again, since my old LP's are not in the best shape, and the CD versions I have are prior to remastering.  :smile:
