Eff You

Two people lost their jobs because of an obscene message printed on the customer's receipt. Do you think the reporter gave the customer the idea to sue?

I sincerely hope the courts wouldn't entertain a suit for this.

  With all of the lawyers we have today.  You can sue a head of cabbage if you want to pay a lawyer.  What is so bad the cabbage has to hire a lawyer to defend it's self. >:( >:( >:( :yes:

I can't believe they would have a case, he wasn't really harmed in any way. I wonder, did he go ahead and eat the food? Do you think the workers should have been fired? I do, even the most dense person should know that is unacceptable behavior for a business.

The manager I would have fired on the spot. At that level they should know better AND set a better example. The emplyee I'm ify on. If he/she was a good employee otherwise, I might try to salvage them after an unpaid suspension.

Still, it's business and that was totally unacceptable. I guess it's not so funny now.

With all of the coverage this dumb thing has gotten, it wouldn't suprise me if there's an attorney out there that might use it to become famous. I just hope the judge is smarter. Then again, it's played out... I think.
