The Troll

I want to say I made a typo mistake.  The most money I have ever made was $20.50 an hour.

I liked the little slam about how much I cost Ford.  Henry how about your little ass and your dad and uncle who worked for GM.  Ford and GM contracts were the same.  You sure lived pretty good on those evil union pay checks.  What a dick and a college education too.  Poor little Henry Hawk.     Boo Hoo   and he worries about someone getting something he doesn't get.  Boo Hooo

Troll, you again are quite wrong, I am 100% content and happy with my life.  I, in no way shape of form, worried about getting what others got.  I did not slam you troll.  I am happy you was able to reap the rewards from your job.  As  I was/am happy that my father was able to provide me a great childhood, and he has a fantastic retirement.....But, YOU need to quit boo f'ing hooing because those jobs are not there for your kids...it was YOUR UAW's greed that forced Ford and GM to look else where to build a car that they can compete with and STILL make a profit.

it is THAT 'f'ing simple Troll.....

Well, I happy for your dad, and my father who retired from GM.  I am happy for all of the GM people who retired in Anderson and the surrounding area who worked for GM.  But what I am sad about is every day I read the obituary in the THB is all of the people dieing from GM.  That is one large chunk out of the economy each time one of them dies and there no one to replace them.  No one.  :'(

First of all, I too, am sad to see anyone pass away, GM or no GM employee, I'm not understanding how you think one chunk is going to be out of the economy?  How is our economy going to be better if we replace one retiree with another?

That's the problem Dummy, there isn't going to the pensions like GM had.  Each GM retire had a pension averaging from $1,200 to $2,800 per month plus their Social Security.  All of that money was spent in Anderson and now it will be gone and I suppose you think that not much money.  Huh?  :wall:  Only 5 to 8 GM retires die a week, figure the money up Champ. $$$$$$$$$  over a million $.

You Republicans have such away with words you more or less said that I had no compassion for the other people that had passed away, no so.  I was talking about the other deceased people.  Are you going to have a pension equal to your dad in today's dollars, NO.  That's why you hate unions.  That's why you don't want anyone else to have a union.  Just Republican greed. :sneaky:

In one of your post you said that people would jump for those $20 an hour jobs at Honda.  The Republicans that cause this bad economy.  It seem like over 1,500 people jumped for the $8 to $10 an hour jobs at Nestle's in Anderson.  God love those high wages.  You can have a wife, a kid or two, own a nice house, a nice car and enjoy fine Florida vacations.  Just like you :chick:

You want to work for Nestle's as an hourly worker? :chick:

First of all, that pension those guys are getting is not being paid by GM, it is being paid by the tax payer.....remember the billion $$ bailout several months ago?...well, THAT is where most of that money is going....and secondly I would LOVE to have that kind of pension & benefits, but the real world doesn't work that way.  I am building my own retirement.  I do not have ANY grudge against YOU or my Dad or anyone who is getting it....I do get tired of you guys bitching and whining about the cost of healthcare...you have NO idea what it is like to not have that golden goose insurance you guys have....those of us in the real world, have to pay through the nose, and we don't run off to the doc everytime we get a fart stuck, and get our teeth cleaned every 6 months.  Seriously, you don't have a clue.  (how does it feel to have some else put words in your mouth...  )

as far as working for Nestles, I would in a heartbeat, if I had no other choice.  But I did have a choice, I decided to work hard, and train myself, put in my blood, sweat and tears for twenty years, before I got to where I am now.  I am STILL working hard.  I do not belittle anyone working at Nestles, I know of one guy who I went to church with,  works there and loves it.  He now has a great medical plant, and works steady hours and brings home a steady paycheck.

Ummm. . . Troll. You got the compensation range wrong for actual Nestle employees. It is actually much higher than what you quoted. Now, that is not to say there aren't some folks working at that "location" making the pay you expressed; but those folks work for a sub contractor at the Nestle facility and not for Nestle itself. . .

Nestle is a tops shelf employer in Madison county thanks to GM abandoning ship years ago. I have some "issues" with their hiring process but it is after all their sandbox so they can make the rules. I am not going to knock an employer that provides a good living wage to residents of Madison county who so desperately need it. . .

I don't know about all of the wages of all of the employees.  But the ones I'm talking about is the ones that the Herald Bulletin said was the 300 that would be paid starting at $8 to $10 per hour.  Over 1,500 people show up for a job.

The government money Henry says is payed to the GM employees comes from a fund that all companies paid into.  They are not tax payer funds yet.

Henry, I usually don't disagree with you but actually GM, the old GM, is paying the pensions of current retirees, the pension plan was about 96% funded and was not allowed into the bankrupcy. I am not saying that it won't eventually be turned over to the government but it is not at this time.

Then let me rephrase this, GM was on the verge of bankrupcy....and yet, they had money for pensions, but not money to pay the bills....IF, they did not get bailed out by the government, and they went bankrupt is it fair to say that, the retiree's has no stake in the company?

You mean that they should pay the bills instead of honoring the debts incurred to workers over 30 or 40 years in retirement promises?

That IS a "bill" they owe.

You don't see it that way?

That's his exact feelings, to hell with the common hourly workers.  Hell, their only union workers, fire them all they don't deserve a damn thing.  This is what pisses me off at Henry.  He doesn't give a damn about people, only himself.  You can read that through all of his past post.  They don't deserve Social Security, Medicare, Medicade, unions, health care, but the super rich and the corporations give them everything.  And he claims to be a Christian, what would Jesus say?

More on Nestle's pay scale.  I seen some pictures of the insides of Nestle's and all of that stainless steel pipe and stainless steel tanks, steam lines, boilers and hot water lines and tubing.  I would imagine that the pipefitters, the certified welders, insulators and the millwrights that put it together and maintain it make a little more than $10 per hour.

I want to ask this question to all zoners, do YOU see me as the Troll has describes?

I want honest answers...

Troll you are on some real drugs, PROVE to me where I don't give a damn about people.....do it and do it now!

Just because I think the UAW ruined Anderson and every auto city in America, I have NO problem with those who worked for them, except for the ones who took advantage of there work privileges...

I'm sick and tired of you blowing your mouth about me, without getting your facts straight....

ftw, the whole thing that bothers me is, GM and the UAW made a promise they can't keep....so, is it MY fault?  Should the taxpayers have to bailout everyones problems.....they have extremely excellent benefits, maybe, just maybe they could take a slight cut, and live like the rest of the senior citizens across this country....it is not the first time a promise has been broken....if you haven't notice folks, we are near a depression, we ALL have to suck it in some....

I don't know how the rest of the people feel about you, but what I said is true.  Just read your past posts.

About GM, the government is going to get it's money back and with interest.

And about taking a cut in my retire pay.  Why don't you take a pay cut and so you'll know what the people in other countries make in pay.   I earn every dollar of my retirement pay for the 38  years I spent at Ford making it of of the best car companies in the world.

If you had a poor and bad life, maybe I could see how you feel about other people in the world and this country.  But you never work a real hard, dirty, filty, hot, oily, high in the steel job in your whole life.  Hell you might break a nail with the ice cream scoop or the malt mixing machine.  And the jerk is from all of the ice cream sodas you jerked.
