Perhaps the self appointed know-it-all has some advice on how to deal w/poultry.

  I have seen them peck the undigested corn out of a pile of cow shit and eat it.  I have seen my personally owned chickens eat worms, bugs, slugs and many other thing that crawled though the green grass in my back yard.  They would ever eat the nice fresh new sprigs of grass, especially in the spring.  But never seen them eat the shit you are talking about.  My you have lived such a sheltered life.  I'll bet you never owned a chicken or even been in a chicken house.

  But even you could tell the difference between the free range chicken eggs than ones that came from a chicken raised in a small cage eating soybean gruel.  The free range eggs with an yellow standing tall and a golden yellow almost orange, the caged chicken egg with the yellow almost as white and the white and laying flat.

  No, you don't have to be a know it all, you just have to experience life and get your head out of you arse.   

  All of us eat shit every day.  The government allows a certain amount in our food,  But this self appointed person will tell you to wash your chicken and cook it well done.  Because if it came from a store and you didn't kill and dress  yourself, it's got shit on it.

Troll, I've been posting in this forum for about 5+ years, before that I posted in a forum w/many of the folks here. I've posted a few times about my background. It's here if your're interested, so I'm not going to go into detail now.

I grew up on a farm. We raised our own meat, including chickens, we had a dairy cow and we grew and canned fruits and vegetables. We had beef, pork, and chicken. We even had guinea fowl, ducks and geese, but mom wouldn't kill those. I've milked, fed, shoveled, put up hay, gathered eggs, tilled and hoed (we didn't have a gas powered tiller), planted, weeded, plucked and cleaned chickens. I couldn't bring myself to shoot an animal, but I target practiced w/the fellas and I was a pretty good shot. We even had a pen of hunting dogs, who weren't pets and couldn't be treated like pets, but they got better food that the regular mutts. I've eaten wild turkey, squirrel, rabbit, bear, pheasant, deer and snake. All from the woods.

I know about food. I also know about the humane treatment of animals and people who are worse than animals.

Maybe you should stick to subjects you know something about. I'm not one of them.

  Your one of those 21ST century women who want to be in control in a mans world with your big mouth.  But when it come to back up your mouth, you want to hide behind your womanhood.  You certainly found a place for yourself in the Human Resources, the anal opening in a large corporation.  I think the way the business are cutting back.  I think they could do away the Human Resources department and save a lot of money and would not be missed at all.
