Through the looking glass I fell,
these sparkling slivers cut me well.
Down this rabbit hole is hell—
where the darkest Creeper dwells.

Standing at disaster's brink,
eat me and then you shrink—
into darkness ever sink,
grow larger with just one drink.

The Liar Cat and Hatter Mad,
best tea party I never had.
Though intentions had gone bad,
when it ended I was not glad.

The Jack of Spades is still too green,
but he's dangerous, I have seen—
out of control quick careen,
fall out with the warring Queen.

Banished to the Maze and Hall,
captured by not one nor all—
upward, outward, backward fall;
over, under, through the wall.

The Bitter Rabbit grinning gleams—
nothing's ever as it seems.
Are these real or all just dreams?
Delusions of insanity.

Into the Creeper's den I'm cast,
the Creeper hunts and eats the past.
When he comes—he comes fast.
I can fight, but I can't last.

Sadly, he has been set free
to hunt the likes of you and me.
Kill Rabbit and Cat, so swiftly—
Hatter Mad, even the Queen.

I call to him with all my might,
"Oh, Creeper, Creeper, of the Night,
come now and feast delight;
devour my past—enjoy my fright.

I shall not ever peer back,
I feel your breath hot and black.
I know it's you, dearest Jack,
looming, ready to attack."

I can only hope to wake
before my memory the Creeper take—
lest a meal my soul will make,
from this slumber—I must shake.

So, up the rabbit hole I'll crawl,
maybe then the Creeper stall.
Back through the looking glass I'll fall,
and hope he's trapped once and for all.

Never will I dare to glance
at those slivers—not a chance,
no matter what the circumstance—
for fear the Creeper this nightmare grants.

Thank you.  :bat:

vxn, your spook the Creeper put me in mind of a recurring dream I had as a kid.  My Creeper was dressed in a black robe, cape and a black hood.  Every night he would chase and chase me and I would run and run.  I would wake up tired.  This went on for months.

This dream was always on a single lane road at night, with curbs and street lights that faded into the distance and it was always shrouded in fog.  I decided I was was going to face him.  Well, that night he was back and he started chasing me again.  I stopped and turned around and there he was standing right behind me.  I looked into the hood and it was empty and then I woke up.  You know, he never returned to chase me again.

I did the right thing, I faced my fears.
