Half the truth, why not point it out equally? The Repubs are equally guilty of mud-slinging...generally.

Character is very personal but why shouldn't it be considered? Especially in cases like O'Donnell's and Palin's where they put it out there for the whole world to consider.

What is totally laughable is that these people open the book and then the supporters want to cry about it when it gets read.

Yes, they both do it and it still has nothing to do with the issues and who cares if she took a while to pay off a student loan it's paid off now and her taxes are paid current which is more than you can say for some in congress.  Sure look at their character but look for important stuff don't be just digging up any old thing that happened.  Who were/are their influences, who are their friends, what are their beliefs, and I'm not referring to christian here I'm referring to their political beliefs, are they saying different things to different audiences that contradict, can they look an audience in the face, can they stand up under stressful situations like having uncomfortable questions asked at town hall meetings or political rallies or do they all have to be orchestrated, will they allow the press to ask meaningful and sometimes tough questions, do they refuse to talk to unfriendly press?    Those to me are the important things when I'm deciding who to vote for even in a primary and the other is all BS brought up to detract from the issues.   Now if they have a past record in office that should be considered too but if not those other above mentioned are most important.

I am so delighted Christine won in spite of "The Leaders in the Republican Party ignoring Castle's stance on Cap and Trade and other important bills. What I am so upset about is the personal attacks leveled at this young woman by many I had respected for years. Now, I hope they are removed from their perches on the news show. Why go personal? I am embarrassed that I see the same arrogance in them that I see in Obama!!! I feel sure there is not one of us that have not done or said something we regret. Also, in this economy who can not identify with her financial troubles? School loans are great help, but so hard to pay off. You have just entered the work force, if you can get a job. If O'Donnell loses I blame it on the Republican leadership. I cannot believe how they bismirched one of their own candidates! We Americans have to much to lose and those GOP dinosaurs are HELPING the Democrats!

I've been a Rebublican my entire life and they are risking the lose of myself and many other loyal
Republicans who are on the verge of abandoning my party for the Tea Party permanently. The Tea Party movement should go into Democratic primaries in states where the Republican is sufficiently conservative and vote there. The open primary systems set up by Democrats for the illegals to vote makes this possible. There are good, conservative, hard-working Democrats who are looking for a way to chuck their liberal elites as well, why not move BOTH parties towards fiscal conservatism and responsible limited government. The Tea Party could change the whole game. What joy if the ruling pro-big governing elites are brought down!
