Someone should post the YouTube video of the Colts bizarre 4th down play last night.  ;D

Watch her face as she plays....

This 9-Year-Old Plays The Harp So Beautifully That You Could Be In A Fairytale.
By Evie Zimmerman
At age 9, most children can just about perform an ear-piercing tune on the recorder. Not Alisa Sadikova — she's gone quite a few steps further.

Alisa began playing the harp at the tender age of five. She is now a renowned player worldwide and has even played at the prestigious Carnegie Hall in New York City.

106 years old. Born in 1910.

When this woman was born an individual of color had absolutely zero hope of dancing in the White House, and even less of a chance of meeting the sitting POTUS and 1st Lady and dancing with them both.

106 years later, here she is doing both. And still able to laugh, walk, talk, and dance with a surprising amount of quickness given her age. And what did she want for her 106th birthday? To meet the President.

After 106 years in this place, birthday wish granted!  8)  (Well done Mr. President and 1st Lady!)

These are milestones worth remembering and sharing, for I dare say they will become even rarer than they were the day this woman was born.  :'(

Thanks for posting that, Palehorse.  It's been shown all day long here.

Though I am not big fans of the Obama's.......I think this is one of the most genuine moments by them.  That lady is remarkable and the fact that the POTUS took time out to allow her to have that moment is awesome!  She looks better than many I know in their 70's......very cool.

Yeah, sorry for bringing it into a port of refuge on the same day the media overplayed it; however I thought the historic significance of the event was worth pointing out.

And I thank you for being honest Hank. It is deeply appreciated!

I became a fan of Glen Campbell when I heard his recording of Take Me Home, Country Roads. Some time after that I was in the cemetery where my parents and some others are buried and saw a headstone with those same words. Stood there and cried like a baby. Hearing it again still makes cold chills go over me.

I could live in a place like this. Totally self sufficient and very open. This is a little long but really fascinating I think.
