Bullshit; we simply believe that our taxes should be used in ways that benefit us, not to rebuild some country in the middle east and certainly not to line the pockets of those in power and their friends.  The government has become nothing more than a mafia protection racket in which men with guns extort our money in exchange for "protecting" us from some unknown menace when the biggest menace we need protection from is them.

Well ya know what.....Both parties give our money to other countries and, in fact, the dems are the ones who scream loudest when someone tries to not give to what they deem a "worthy cause" in another country so don't try to lay it all on the Republican party.  In case you didn't notice we recently sent money to Greece to help bail them out because they have an entitlement government like our government is trying to put into place and are broke with a capitol B.....what was that all about?  Are they gonna help bail us out?

Are you being intentionally obtuse or are you actually this cluless?  I'm not talking about throwing countries a bone of a few million here or several million there; I'm talking about the trillions we're projected to pay for that debacle in Iraq (with hundreds of billions going to Halliburton and its subsidiaries...the same company that is apparently complicit in the current gulf oil spill).

  It finally happened.  Today I go to the grocery store, buy some food and a bottle of table wine.  The cashier asks for my drivers licence to see if this 72  year old man is old enough to buy a bottle of wine.

  When me and my buddies were 16 and 17, 56  years ago, we would go to a bootleger just outside of town or find someone outside a bar and pay them to buy us some booze.  What is wrong with these stupid jerks, thinking that a stupid law like this will stop young, smart boys with cars from getting booze.

  Hell, more than half of these kid have smoke marijuana, that one thing me and my friend never did.  God damn the stupid bastards and to think, I spent my time in the service for this shit.  God Bless America.
