Troll, my question to you was and is...you had posted that you were not going to keep posting on this thread as it was not worth your time.

Are you a liar?
Are you an attention seeker?
Why are you still posting?

Do you ever keep your word or just type posts because you can't help yourself?

When I came on the Unknown Zone, my first questions were, name 5 things the Republican Party has done for the working man or woman.  The only answers I got was, cut taxes, cut taxes, cut taxes.  Not one other thing.
The Troll :trustme:

Wow, I most have been out that day, because this would have been an easy one..

1.  The Civil Rights Act of 1964 was a good one that probably helped out the working man more than anything....
2.  They passed the 15th Admendment......allowing African Americans the right to vote....
3.  The 1981 Economic Recovery Act.....got ALL of the working "man" BACK to work...and TRULY stimulated America....
4.  The Contract with America....1994, helped President Clinton get re-elected and restored some pride in Gov...
5.  Welfare Reform (1996)...or the Personal Responsibility and Work Opportunity Reconciliation Act of 1996...which lead    to a decline in Welfare and poverty rates...

not that I am tryin to hi-jack this thread, but I read this and these just came to my mind and could not resist to post them...

There you go again, I ask for 5 things the Republican Party has done for the working man, not including tax cuts.

Your #1  The Civil Rights Act of 1964 was born in the Kennedy Presidentsy.  It was a Kenndey bill.

Your  #2 was a tax cut bill.  For the rich from 70% down to 50%.  The middle class from 25% to 23%.  WOW!

Your #3  1994 Contract for America helped get Clinton relected.  Now thats's pure BS.  It was to elect Republicans  With this contract for America was the start and has caused all of the problems we have to day.  Newt Grindridge's contract for America has cause all of these problems we are having now.

Your #4, 1994 Walfare Reform.  Clinton's oftrepeated campaign promise "To end walfare as we know it".

Nice try Henry, see I told you.  The Republican Party is the party of the rich and corporations.  One of the laws they passed, a Phill Gramm law a Republican from Texas, which removed all of the relegalation on the banks and the Stock Market had on them.  See what happened.  Oh, it's Obama problem now.

spin it Troll!! spin it!!!!.... ;D

1. get your facts straight now...The House of Representatives passed the bill by 289 to 126, a vote in which 79% of Republicans and 63% of Democrats voted yes. The Senate vote was 73 to 27, with 21 Democrats and only 6 Republicans voting no. President Johnson signed the new Civil Rights Act into law on July 2, 1964....the bill was an update of Republican Senator Charles Sumner's 1875 Civil Rights Act...It was a Republican federal judge who desegregated many public facilities in the South. Appointed by President Eisenhower in 1955, Frank Johnson had overturned Montgomery, Alabama's infamous "blacks in the back of the bus" law in his very first decision. During the 1960s, Judge Johnson continued to advance civil rights despite opposition from George Wallace, Lester Maddox, and other Democrat Governors.

2. I noticed you didn't touch this one.... ;D   that darned ol 15th admendment....

3. THOSE nasty tax cuts for the rich from 70% to 50% was what SPURRED  economic growth....THOSE guys expanded buisness....where the hell was you back then.....I remember it clearly, as our economy went from double digit interest rates to single....double digit unemployment to 5%.....and halted the inflation rate.....THAT helped the "working man" incredibley...

4. The Contract with America is WHY Bill Clinton was a success....

5. see note 4.... ;)

Obama should have taken a page out of history and FIXED this problem that we are now facing.....instead he is doing the exact opposite.....

He's trying and the Republicans are fighting it.  Their fighting against everything.  If they are so smart and intelligent, why arn't they bringing up some of their own bills?  Hell, they got all of the new media to preach it.

Why not, the Republicans are in the pockets of the Corporatiions.

Well, dumbass, that a  better plan than Newt's and Phill Gramms ever did.  Roosevelt's work for over 65 years.  Newt's never worked.  Phill Gramms worked long enough to destroy this country after 8  years of George W.

If it wasn't for Social security and Medicare, you wouldn't have it good as you have it now.

I got news for you....Corporations are in the back pocket of ALL politicians....and NOW that the Dems are in control, the amount of Corporate donations to the dems has passed the repubs..

http://www.seattlepi.com/opinion/379678_campaignfundsonline19.html

they will go after WHO ever is in charge....the article is kind of interesting.....the repubs was in charge for several years and many of those old farts are about to be replaced....

but back to my point.....the repubs has done wonderful things for the working man....now can YOU name five things that the dems have done to "help" the working man?
