It is very sad that you only have three colors in your paint pallet.  Coloring everyone with the same brush is very boring.
Take time to smell the roses.

Henry - exactly, but IMO the satisfaction should be in the fun of discussion and exploring ideas which are sometimes adverse to our own. Otherwise we become frustrated b/c our ideas aren't changing the ideas of others. We can't expect that our thoughts will lead to an epiphany, but we can hope that someone understands our view.

me - you missed the point.

I have put up with a lot of shit on here for several years, and always found a way to laugh it off....but, it is not as easy these days.....maybe it is because I am getting older and don't have the patience that I used too.

Or maybe it's because there's now a Democrat in the White House and a black one at that.

Maybe you should take a look at it too.  Y is a progressive from what I see and I definitely don't see eye to eye with progressives.  Dem's suck but progressive's are worse.

That's interesting.  I'd like to hear you expound on that a bit as well as your reasoning behind it.

Sandy, I have been struggling with this issue for months now.....I know it is more of a personal ordeal with myself than anyone else.....I can and maybe should just walk away from this, but because of the relationships, I find that it is hard for me to do....this has become part of my routine....but I think there is not much else for me to say....I am firmly rooted in my opinions and the way things SHOULD be....my skin is not as thick as it once was....and communicating my thoughts with written words in a short time frame is NOT my strong point....(after all these years ya think I would have it down by now)...

Kimmi your analogy is not really an accurate one the way I see it.....I love all sorts of colors, but some colors are just not compatable with others....they clash when they are next too each other....and that is the problem here, the way I see it.

I knew I'd getcha' on that one.

Seriously though, the past few years on here, the Shrub was in charge so regardless of the goings on here, you rested comfortably in the fact that nothing being discussed in here had any chance of becoming reality with the Republicans firmly in control.  Now that the shoe's on the other foot, I really do think that's contributed somewhat to your struggles around here.

Henry, you may be surprised to know that I understand how you feel, but I'm hijacking this thread. Sometime when I see you online and I'm home, maybe we can go into the chat area and talk.

Yer such good little sheeples.

Coming from someone who posted that trash about grapes in England without even bothering to check out its veracity, I would say that is the epitome of hypocrisy.
