Yes. An obvious analogy he used at the time. I also recall the absolute fit you guys threw over it too. And yet here we are just a few months shy of 10 years later and here you are endorsing the blatant, violence inciting statements of the Raging Cheeto.

Hypocrites, the lot of you.
You calling anybody a hypocrite is hypocritical as hell...

I'm just reminding you of similarities

I don't condone Trump, but his constituents understand him and are not taking his harsh words seriously.

I will agree that Trump needs to take this opportunity to take the high road and reset the bar.

I don't condone Trump, but his constituents understand him and are not taking his harsh words seriously.

Last week, a rabid Trump supporter was arrested for mailing bombs to two former U.S. presidents and various other democratic figures, all of whom Trump has criticized multiple times.  Then, a guy who tried unsuccessfully to enter a black church walked into a Kroger store and shot and killed two complete strangers for no other reason than they were black.  Finally a white nationalist anti-Semite walked into a synagogue on Saturday and killed 11 people and injured 6 others in the worst attack on Jews in our country's history.

Are you seriously suggesting that Trump's divisive, bigoted rhetoric is not responsible for emboldening these people?

Yes!! I am seriously suggesting that very thing!!!  No more than blaming Obama for Ferguson Or blaming him for BLM  for saying the Police's actions are causing a division...

There are always going to be morons.......they just didn't start two years ago.  We have had problems for century's......blaming Trump is just another POS scare tactic that the Democrat Party LOVES to play.

But we really haven't saw folks on the right act out violence as we have from those on the left.  The mobs like ANTIFA and BLM.  The riots during the Kavanaugh hearings.  Those of us who like Trump understand his humor and his demeanor. Trump is a NY businessman and we "get him"!

Do you remember Obama telling his constituents "if they bring a knife to the fight, you bring a gun!"?

Listen, I am thrilled at the direction our country is going!  Our economy is rocking!  Trump did it! I hope and pray we never go back to the place we were before Trump! We got to keep moving forward not go backwards!

It's crap like this that reminds me why I went away for a while. It's really scary to realize that there is chunk of people who are this ignorant.

Right?  Absolute fucking idiots.  They deserve every last bit of what's coming to them.

I think there are more that feel the exact same about you...Hence, the reason why Trump and the GOP won....the reason why we have been winning since 2010!!....

For the life of me, I cannot begin to understand the liberal logic.  There is NONE!  I know you guys are intelligent human beings.  I know that you are good people.......I just cannot figure out WHY you are liberal. Liberalism is bringing this nation down.

You're always crowing about how Trump won.  :haha:  Do you think he could have won if the Russians hadn't helped.   If there had not been Gerrymandering and voter suppression in the South and Wisconsin and other places.  The phony witch hunt on Hillary about Benghazi, which was all a lie and the so called 30,000 missing email.     The FBI head coming out at the last minute saying they found more emails, which turned out to be bullshit.  You won though a outdated law even tho Hillary won by 3,000, 000, three million votes.

Trump winning is the worse thing that has been done to America.  You, Dumbass are one of the people who did it.   :mooning:  We will not forget or forgive you asshole.  :kissit:

Well, one of these days I'll be standing on that fishing pier.  standing there with a life ring and you out in the water drowning.  :haha:  Oh well, bye, bye Hawk.  I will tell everyone, I seen him go down of the third time and I didn't want to waste a life ring.  :haha:

Omg, you really can't see the difference?  Obama never said things to incite people to violence!  Reread this:

Anne, Henry, can you provide facts of other Presidents saying things that Trump has to encourage violence?

I can't remember any president before Trump saying things like this: "Knock the crap out of him, will you?  I promise I will pay your legal fees.", "I'll beat the crap out of you", "If you do (hurt him), I'll defend you in court, don't worry about it", "I'd like to punch him in the face", "maybe he should have been roughed up", "Part of the problem is no one wants to hurt each other anymore", "I don't know if I'll do the fighting myself or if other people will", "the audience hit back. That's what we need more of", and "Any guy that can do a body slam...he's my guy" (Praising Rep. Greg Gianforte, who was convicted of assaulting a reporter.)

Come on, Hank, Trump praised a guy who was convicted of assault!  And you really don't think he's responsible for any of this?  Get your head of your ass and start thinking.  And, please, provide me with some facts where other presidents have had rallies and encouraged their supporters to commit acts of violence.

No! I think the difference between conservatives and liberals is that conservatives believe in being accountable for our own actions and not always looking for excuses to blame others.  We (the GOP) have a brain and think for ourselves and know just because Trump says things in his NY demeanor it doesn't mean we are all going become violent.
Trump isn't afraid to call things as he sees it....Trump haters are looking for anything and everything to try to cast a dark cloud above him.

Maybe you need to worry about getting your own head out of your own ass...all this bs is just more politicalization just days before the election...I think it is disgusting and I could not be more energized along with several other family, friends and co-workers.

Trump is bringing this violence on and then has the nerve to blame the media.

You missed the point, I was agreeing that all the name calling, threats, accusations and lack of responsibility started years ago and gets worse every year. As far as President Trump is concerned, he says a lot of inappropriate stuff. I doubt the guy who sent those bombs suddenly decided President Trump was talking directly to him. My guess is he has some kind of mental illness. I think I read somewhere he was a democrat, like President Trump was years ago. Do you remember when then President Obama was so disapproving of the police and the following spike in police being killed. Was that his fault? Is it ok for Ms. Waters to tell democrats to harass others and their families. How about the actors, musicians, who for some reason think they are important, to threaten politicians and their families? None of it is right. President Trump has the bully pulpit but that doesn't mean everyone is listening and running out to take out the democratic party. Just a fun fact, President Harry Truman once threaded a columnist who wrote a bad review of his daughter's singing ability.
